I thought it was the role players/bench underperforming that cost yall the game? Or is it the refs' fault now? Maybe if the Bobcat guards would attack the paint instead of jacking excessive amounts of long jumpers and slinging the ball to the other team, they would get to the free throw line more. In sports, there are no excuses. Only results.

I'm more concerned with PNG losing to Oak Cliff. Eric Peevey seems like a really nice man. I just think some of you guys have him overrated. Records on the decline every year at multiple stops should be concerning. I think Orangefield should hire Chris Pachuca personally. It will be interesting.

PNG found out how hard it is to go into Orangefield and get a win. They should nickname the gym as the haunted house or the cemetery.

I think this is a disappointing result for Bridge City. Losing by thirty plus to Silsbee whiteout their best player is not good. I still think they should be a playoff team.

I hope Orangefield hires someone to upgrade that stadium. I like to go to Friday night games, but the experience at PNG compared Orangefield is night and day.

Did they hire you to be the film guy? I almost came and talked to you at the Orangefield tournament, but I was intimidated by your cinematography setup. And I didn't want you to yell at me. If the Orangefield role players were half as intense as you, the cats would be a top 10 team in the state.

My understanding is that the kid was ejected for getting his second technical foul in the game. Do you have video that exonerated the first one, too? I can't wait for the Orangefield tournament. And I can't believe I'd ever say that! I will be there eating lots of popcorn.

I hope we get a Nederland-PNG final. We have won three in a row against the Bulldogs.

Sorry. That was poor form of me. I was told the star player was ejected and one of the prominent fans went on an obscenity laced tirade. I wasn't there so maybe the story is exaggerated. I'm planning on making all Orangefield home games in district. They are apparently pretty good and it seems there is always extracurricular entertainment.

PNG will be pretty good by the end of the season. Really good moving forward after that.

Kelly is pretty bad right now. I understand there was an incident at this game. Any of the Orangefield guys on here care to comment?

My comment wasn't really aimed at anyone. I just meant I wanted to see them play someone good. However, now that I look, I see that none of Orangefield's opponents this year were playoff teams last year. Maybe the new coach came in and wanted a schedule geared toward building confidence. As to Onalaska, I admittedly don't know much about them. Several on this board have said that is a good team though. Maybe I'll check yall out too.

This message board was created for people to share scores, information, opinions. I highly doubt anyone is receiving a scholarship from posts here, but I do appreciate your response. I need to go check the cats out. When is the next home game? Preferably against someone with a pulse?

I don't know the Peevy's. I'm sure they're nice, but I'm from Groves. Much easier to get land in Orangefield when we built. Hate is a strong word. I don't hate anyone or anything. No actual reason, but I just have always rooted against LCM. However, I do not like openly recruiting (you can disagree all you want, but I believe what I believe) and then playing the victim when those kids aren't cleared. What I do like to do is argue and I love this board because of it. You guys support your team and that's great. Don't ever stop.

I live in Orangefield. I've never liked LCM and they've really rubbed me the wrong way the last couple of years.

Maybe you can show me what you're talking about, Jack? LCM's a sports powerhouse?

Some on here and some in the community. Might be some of the same people for all I know. I think the hype has slowed down, but I would say most of it comes from the ad and his cronies. I just don't see a very good product across the board. With that said, history shows that with the exception of baseball, LCM is a hard place to have athletic success.
