I heard the coach they got is pretty good

Buna might surprise some people, they beat EC twice last season and split with kountze then beat them to get the #1 seed. I know they lost some seniors but I see them competing for first.

I heard it will be done before the season starts…don’t know how true that is.

From what I’ve heard they are already short on coached so we will see how it goes.

That sucks! Im sure most of the other coaches they interviewed have already taken other jobs! I wonder what they are going to do.

You do realize Buna beat EC twice and kountze 2 out of 3 times. I can see kounte giving them problems but EC didn’t beat Buna at all last year…

I’m pretty sure there was a team this year or last that made a pretty deep run in the playoffs running a mix of slot T and spread

If they continue to run the Slot T I don’t think they win many games, Dubois was special with that offense and I don’t think there are many coaches that can run it effectively that are looking for jobs.

I went to HJ and got to experience 2 years under Coach martell running the spread and 1 year under Dubois in the slot T and I can tell you we won a whole lot more in the Slot T!! I just don’t know if hj has the athletes effectively run the spread offense

Someone has to know who the front runners are 👀…. Will they hire someone that knows the slot-T or will they go the Buna route and hire a coach from a bigger city and go back to the spread?

How do y’all see this district turning out? I see Hardin as a for sure #1 but how will 2-8 go?
