Huffman definitely looks legit. As of now they are the team to beat in district. But when LCM plays to their potential, we are not bad. the win on the road at splendora was impressive. take away a few penalties at the end, and a fumble, we win by 3 scores. the 2 losses on the year were to WOS and Jasper (both top 10 in 4A D2). But if we want to beat Huffman, we have to step it up for sure. Cannot afford any dumb mistakes

right! if LCM had kept it going, final would have been 34-7! and points matter in high school...lets just say splendora beats huffman, huffman beats LCM, the point differential could come into play

no. it was hard to hear the announcer. I think the call was changed from targeting to unnecessary roughness

Big win for the Bears on the road. Still need to play more disciplined. a few penalties and turnovers kept Splendora in the game. Penalties gave them a few 1st downs late in the game. Pass interference and a targeting call led to 2 of Splendora's scores. LCM had a long td run called back for holding late in the game also.

They need to prepare for Livingston like they're playing WOS or Newton. Do that each week with every opponent. Never underestimate or take anyone lightly. LCM should win by at least 2 scores

If LCM plays Splendora the way they played Bridge City in the 1st half Friday, Splendora will embarrass us. Gotta step it up.

You're absolutely right when you say the Bears "play not to lose"...they have to be more aggressive with playcalling, etc....and i remember those years you're referring to...the 94 and 97 teams were powerhouses

Livingston is definitely much improved... still have to go with Splendora here....but it will be much more competitive than last year....and btw , Livingston isnt beating LCM :)

I feel like LCM, Huffman and Lumberton will take the top 3 spots...hard to say in which order right now. The Lumbeton/Huffman game tonight will tell us alot
