Ahemm...getting back to football. It was an ugly game, but I was impressed with the heart the defense showed in the second half. They came up with the big plays when it counted. Also kudos to the Dayton coaching staff for going for the end zone on that 3rd and forever play where #12 had the immaculate reception. Would have been easy to run the ball again and count on Carranco's leg. Good call coach! There was a flag for defensive interference anyway so it would have been a win/win regardless. This offense has alot of talent. A little out of sync to start the season but give the coaches a chance to iron it all out and they will be pretty potent come playoff time. Gotta go through some growing pains, find out what works and what doesn't. Lots of weapons though! Broncs are gonna be tough this year.
