Bubble screen to #14 on our side of the field that was about 1 yard short. I thought we were right around midfield though because the play seemed like it happened right in front of us. That wall was a thing of beauty! Great blocking. I noticed the kickoff we received before that one, Gamal was tackled on the 10. Couple kids missed some blocks and got their arse chewed out. Guess they got the point!

I have a bet with a coworker that the Broncos will still outlast the other 19-4a playoff participants. Might be a stretch for me to think that(this year), but it would not shock me. The Bronco coaching staff has proven for many years that they are at their best come playoff time.

But even with #15 at RB, they still finished very strong last year. I really thought that Herrera's senior year would be a highlight reel. Hasn't really turned out that way and like you said, the skill players are the same. There have been some flashes of what I expected, but no consistency. I actually thought they were playing alot better the first 3 games of the year. Offensively speaking. Just my opinion.

I just think there will come a time  when they need him to be a work horse, but last night wasn't it. So why risk him running the ball 25 times? Either way, he's a good back that will keep some drives alive. [/quote] I see what you're saying too. If that is in fact what the "gameplan" is, I'm not down with that, as they say. I think you stick with your overall strategy and try to execute your "normal" offense. If a RB is hurt, either replace him with the back up, or only put him in the game in certain situations. Mcbride played pretty much the whole game. I honestly don't think what you're saying is the case though. I believe they (coaches) simply decided to commit more to the pass the last few weeks. The offense looked so good in preseason. Sharp, crisp, whatever you want to call it. Here lately it's been more hit and miss. Still puzzled by that.

[/quote] Under what pretense though? Concussion? If that's the case, does it have to be a confirmed concussion by an MRI? All I'm saying is there might be room for interpretation here. Not that I'm advocating that of course. When it comes to situations like these, the kids health should come first.

According to Wadzeck and Hamilton, it looked like Herrera was knocked out with a [b]possible[/b] concussion. Chambers finished the game at QB.

I know! Run to set up the pass. Don't get me wrong, the passing game is a good one for a high school team, but 50% doesn't keep drives going sometimes.
