I would flip flop PNG and Crosby.
Crosby beat PNG
My thoughts exactly. I think it's about right the way it is. The whole poll is as a matter of fact. In my humble opinion. Things may be different next week. When BH loses and Dayton creams GCM...Broncos #1 baby!!!

Pre-poll hype? I'll be interested to see the "view" numbers when this thing does finally come out. If it comes out. 8)
Oh, don't confuse my posting as "pre-poll hype". I am just trolling! ;) ;D
Yea...trolling with one eye on the poll thread! Lol!
So if I get this rite...one box of ear plugs@20 bucks 500/900 fans @one dollar a pair for the plugs hmmmm can't wait till the next game, man I love small enterprise. ;D
500/900 fans? Yea right. Let's see, we have NF and CE King left for home games. That's about 50 fans total. Don't plan your retirement just yet.
 5.
Just need to tweek a few things and wait to get healthy. We've lost 2 real close games to 2 un-beaten teams. We're still in good shape, maybe better for the playoff pairing.Right now we're beating ourself.
Good ol' Liltex. The voice of reason. Been there done that huh Liltex. When you put it that way things don't seem too bad. 2 losses to unbeaten teams. Good point. So we sneak in the back door of the playoffs with a tweeked and healthy team and then make some noise. I like it! Thanks for putting it in perspective.  8)
 6. Somebody on the BH thread said it feels weird to be disappointed with a blow out victory of 27 - 0. I concur. We are so spoiled with 40 point district blowouts that a come from behind victory effort by the Broncos last night goes uncongratulated. And BH fans are unhappy with a win. My my, whats the world coming to? Broncos by 17
 7.
Which teams burned them over and over just curious I know friendswood and lake travis but both those teams in 07 would beat this team by 50
Okay point taken. Burned is probably not the best choice of words. Especially considering the competition level that the Broncs have seen in the past. But I think most of the fans would agree that historically (last 10 years), the Broncos have generally been better against the run oriented teams than the prolific passers. Which is probably true for most high school teams. Stu always said that teaching HS kids how to play in space was the most difficult. The point I was attempting to make was that this team has held their own (so far) in the secondary. As a casual fan with NO coaching expierence, I've noticed an improvement in the way the kids are prepared against the pass. And really, I was just trying to find a bright spot.  :) Go Broncos!

Were not going to blow teams out this year by 40 points . We have a potent offense and the skills postions are loaded and guided by the best QB in the leage. Our line is young on both sides of the ball I think maybe some of the bigger players on offense need to go both ways to help shore up our small D line. Lee had some studs in the backfield and they had great game. All in all I think we will be just fine . Folwer has a sprang ankle and recovering from a horse collar tackle from the BH game Delisbore #1 is looking beter all the time the coaches are bringing him on slow .
Good post Jay. My thoughts exactly. Defense came up big when they needed to. Ironically enough, this is one of the best secondarys I've seen over the last few years, as far as INT's and knockdowns are concerned. Just that they're having to make too many tackles on run plays. Also agree with someone earlier, we need big #12 back. He's a beast!
"one of the best secondarys  I've seen "????? you might need to view some game films of Bronco teams for the last few years
2007 secondary was by far the best.  In the last three years, this might be one of our best.  Last year St. Andre playedas a freshmen in the secondary and had a great game last night.  We need #12 back.
I stand by my statement. There have been more physical groups yes, but against the pass (which is what I was referring), this team seems to have more of a nose for the ball. Maybe the scheme has changed a bit, I don't know. Seems like they're reading the QB better nowadays. I saw some of those previous great squads get burned over and over by a good passing attack.
 9.
Incidental contact is not a pentalty it was a weak call it was one of our better tackles of the night. lol
Yes you're right. Incidental contact is not a penalty. Problem is, it was a wee bit more than incidental. When the receiver gets tripped from behind right in front of an official, it's a no-brainer. Especially, when it is a catchable ball.
 10.
Question.... The first time the Lee had the ball, they had a 3rd and 11 right off the bat, they throw a fade route to the right receiver.  Armando was flagged for interference.  On the video it looks like #80 (the receiver) slowed up and Armando ran into him, the ball was catchable, but #80 never made a move at the ball, it was like he was trying to get Armando to run over him.  If the official sees that, do they have to throw the flag even though the defensive player ran over him?  Never really seen that before.  Kind of like flopping in basketball to get a charge, even though you weren't touched.  At the end of the play #80 fist pumped like he was trying to get the flag.  If that play was stopped, Lee would have punted, instead they drive down the field and consume the clock for practically the whole first quarter.
It's something like hitting someone from behind with your car. Still your fault even if they slowed down. The ref made the right call in my opinion. On the flip side, when they called holding against Lee (against Reyes) later in the game, all the Lee fans (all 50 of them) were thinking that was a bad call! Lol! He was clearly tackled while the ball was in the air.

 12. Hey Mike, Last night I sat on the visitor side due to the homecoming crowd and a friend from Baytown Lee. There's something I wanted to share with whomever controls the PA system at Bronco stadium.             IT'S TOO LOUD!!!!!!! Seriously, it was painful. The fans from Baytown, and I, were actually holding our ears. I was wishing I had ear plugs from work. You could barely even hear the bands over the volume. I actually had a headache after the game. It was excruciating! I noticed the speakers on the light poles are pointing right at the crowd. Maybe they could be turned if you can't turn raise them any higher. Hopefully they are on a separate volume control. Something really has to be done. That was embarrassing. On the positive side, I did hear plenty of comments about the play-by-play. Most liked it. Not all, but most I talked to. Just couldn't enjoy the game due to the inner ear pain. Thought someone should know.

He was all world last week. He was in the game last night for most of the offensive posessions. If he's hurt shouldn't he be off the field? Same with JAK. I don't get it. ???
Fowler was injured in the Barbers Hill game.
Yes I saw that he was banged up in the BH game, but then he looked great last week against GP. So I'm still confused about his injury. Maybe he re-aggravated it in practice. I saw that REL was double teaming him all night so maybe that's why he didn't touch the ball. They threw one pass his way on a third down...high and incomplete. Hopefully he'll be ready next week.

That one kid when he is healthy can change our whole team and what we can do offensively. I look for our defense to keep improving I say that because I saw alot of new faces on the sidelines and if we can get some of those young kids to really contribute who knows what can happen. Dayton 45 lee 7
Jakari was our nemesis 7th grade to 11th grade. I was really sorry he wasn't able to play against us this year. He was a stud before the injury. I wanted BH to beat Day at their best. Something was lacking without Jakari in the lineup. I am hoping he can make a return to the lineup. Good luck to him and his family.
[sub][/sub] Dude, I don't know how to give karma, but if I did I would give you some.
My thoughts exactly pride. Good post BH15. + karma. Dayton beat some good teams with the bunch we had on the field that night. So nothing taken away from the BH victory. The eagles played as hard as I've ever seen any high school team play. With that defense, Jakari may or may not have made a difference.

We ran it in the game against bh when we had a chance to win the game and it just doesnt work like it did when we had aj, payton or even baldwin its like our go to play and it doesnt work
I second the motion to formally retire the bubble screen!!!! Even though it is usually good for 3-7 yards. Just gets tiresome.
