That poor guy. What if he has a speaking disability and he can't read or write, so his buddy typed it for him, just like he stated it? Ya'll should be ashamed of yourselves! The funny thing is....I sort of agreed with him. We're just a bunch of know-it-alls with laptops! Let the kids and coaches play!  :D :D :D

I did like the "coonarse" announcer. Even though he did not have a clue who was tackling / running / kicking / passing / but he did know how to put he creole in every name he tried to pronounce ;D ;D

How about when he called the Liv. TD a play early? Hilarious!!! :D Harmless guy though. He was kinda unique. Maybe he can run the clock too? Might as well.

my 2 cents - I know I'm late, but some of us do have to work.

1st - the young lady who opened the game with a prayer - awesome.

2nd - the defensive back #2 for Barbers Hill had some heart, tell him he is going to do fine in life if he approaches work, etc like he plays football.

3rd - Barbers Hill left it all on the field. Indians played good enough and I do believe the best team won, but I would not bet on PNG winning if they played again next week.

4th - both teams were laying some hits out there.

by the way PNG is going to play Willis.

I can't disagree with your comments especially the 4th one.  I enjoyed the game if not the outcome.  I hope all the players are fine and none were hurt too bad.  I know the kids play for the fun of the game and we go to watch and show our appreciation for their hard work and dedication.  As my photo below shows, it's only by the grace of God that more severe injuries don't occur.

Good luck to PNG next week.

I'm Unsure what to think of Dayton at this point.  They aren't what i expected them to be, but they certainly are a great program.

I am not sold on them offensively, and given that they have a history of putting the ball on the turf...i have to say that Kpark has a solid shot at upsetting the broncos.

    That being said.

    Dayton-28
    Kpark- 21

Good analysis of the Broncos. Our offense is not near as threatning without the hoss #1. But they sure did pick up the D tonight when they had too! ;D

I was at the game and Livingston gave ya'll everything that ya'll wanted and some. I wouldn't start making plan's too soon because that defense is not as strong as advertised. Ya'll did what ya'll had to do to get the "W". Ya'll better be counting your blessing's that the Livingston db dropped that game clinching int. It was a good game though.

I was at the game too and he didn't drop it, he batted the ball down with one hand. He should have went for the pic but he didn't. Thank the LAWD!!

    a few more thoughts

    1. Tha Butch is a beautiful place to play football. But they need a new clock keeper!!!!!!!!

    2. Livingston played extremely hard.

    3. The Broncs ran the 1 minute and 8 second drill like they'd been doing it all year. Awesome to watch!(except for the almost pick 6).
Sorry but I added a little to #1  Definitely a first rate facility though. Very nice!
  8. Okay, the single malt scotch has finally calmed me down a little.  ;D WHAT A GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!

Lions put up a good fight. I knew it would be a tough game....maybe not quite that tough. The Broncos made it tougher than it should have been though. They left 14 points on the table in the first half. Livingston never stopped our offense. The Bronco offense kept stopping themselves with mistakes. Gotta give credit to Livingston for the drive that took almost the entire fourth quarter. That was a dandy and I thought we were done.....then I remembered.............................................................................................

    [move]ALWAYS BELIEVE!!!! ;D ;D[/move]

I could be wrong on this post, but i know some1 told me not to long ago that Dayton is one of like 6 or 7 4a schools who has 15 or so playoff appearances in the last 20 years. And if Dayton doesn't deserve to be legendary then Jerry Stewart does. So be upset if we are Bronco proud!
and how many times you won state in the past 20 Years ?? ;D
0 times. What about Livingston?

I don't think it was a bad call. They were moving the ball well, and it was definitely 4 down territory. If you get 3 there, it's still a two score game either way. Not that big a loss. Much more to gain. (If they had made it  ;D)

C'mon Eagles! I'm still rootin for ya. Inspite of Smokin Baby!  :D
True I guess a inch can determine what's considered a good or bad call.....
The inches didn't really matter. They would still need 2 td's whether they kick the field goal or not. I think most high school coaches would have made the same decision there. The benefits outweighed the risk. It was the right call IMO. Key word there. My "opinion"  :)
