1. I wondered if anyone was gonna start this thread. I think Lee will take it by 2 TD's. Too many good skill players and they're overdue for a win.
 2. I think we all would acknowledge that GP has a better team this year. Kudos to them for that. It takes alot of hard work by the kids and coaches. Just how much better they are is the question. I'm sure they are looking forward to playing Dayton to find out themselves. But regardless of the score tomorrow, I still congratulate GP on the improvement. It's good for the kids, the school and the community. (It's where I grew up  ;)) So good luck GP but the Broncos are coming for ya!

Maybe not the best hit of the game, but definitely had the most impact game wise.
John Gable... Dayton's side just erupted!! A little girl was sleeping in front of us.... she woke up terrified.  :D :D
That was definitely a moment! I imagine it sorta sounded to Waller like the fumble against Brenham sounded to us last year. That was a moment too, just the wrong kind. ;)

Is it true that he can bench 500lbs? Did anyone see this?
I saw it but can't confirm its true or not
Someone else confirmed it that did see it happen.
 7. I can't wait to watch the GP vs Dayton video on schooltube next week. I wonder if the production style will change any?
 8. Crosby by plenty. But NF scores at least twice.

I think it's cool getting the kids involved like that. Thanks for the tip. Good luck on Friday.
 10. I'm with ya on the different pass plays. That's what I was suggesting. Spread it around some. The QB is very accurate under 25 yds. I think the receivers are more than capable. We have one of the best, if not the best, running backs in the district with Jakari Delasbour. We also have a great offensive line. So with all that....why does the offense seem to stall at times against the better defenses?
 11.
We follow the rules too......... ;) ;) ;)
Putting smileys and winks after accusations of cheating is only gonna go so far.  ;) ;) ;D ;D
 12. I agree with Tyrone and Jayhawk. I think we have a very talented group of receivers. The problem I have is that they don't use them enough. IMO. In the BH game there was a nice bubble screen to Fowler for a TD and a first down throw of about 15-20 yds. to Reyes. Other than that I don't recall utilizing the receivers all that much. Except for some good blocking down field. It was pretty obvious they wanted to run the ball outside on BH, and they did that very well. I still say though, to be effective against some of the quicker defenses, they're going to need to throw north and south a little more. 10 yd. curls, quick slants, 5-10 yd sideline patterns and the like. You know, to "keep the chains moving" kinda stuff. I mean, this is still a spread offense (isn't it ???) and you have some kids with great hands, why not use them? I think it would only open up the middle more for Jakari.
 13.
Just curious, which one if any of these 4 teams that Galena Park has played would be on the same level as the Broncos? Any thoughts?
I don't think any of those 4 teams they beat are gonna be earth shakers this year but I could be wrong. The three teams that beat us probably won't be either. I think the Broncos should go into this one thinking GP is as good as...Lake Travis. Prepare for the best and play your best. I still think the Broncos should win this one but that depends on how our offense performs and of course those dreaded turnovers.

 17. That's pretty cool! It also reminds me to ask this question I've been wondering for a while now. What happened Aug. 9th, 2008 at 4:30am to have 715 members online at once? Maybe I should know this but I don't.
 18. Hey what happened to that one Galena Park fan and his comments?  ??? Quit already? Dang, we didn't even started good.

 22.
Okay I'm new to the site, but I am a big Galena Park fan. First off in this post I will provide all of you with just a little bit of info about GP this year. To start as I'm sure you all know Galena Park is 4-0. So far they have played Magnolia, Houston Sam Rayburn, Sharpstown, and C.E. King. Here's a quick overview about each game which I think may be helpful because many of you have said you don't know that much about GP this year... Galena Park 35 Magnolia 28- To kick off the season Galena Park played Magnolia in an extremely close game. Galena Park's offense was dominant, and Magnolia could not stop us at all. The reason it was this close is because Galena Park's weakness is their run defense up the middle which is exactly what Magnolia's offense is based around. When it got down to the final drive for Magnolia with about a minute left they needed to hurry up instead of running the ball, so they were forced to turn to the pass. As soon as this happened Galena Park easily shut them down with a blocked pass by the defensive end, a broken up pass, and then to cap it off an interception leaving the Jackets to run out the time. Galena Park 46 Houston Sam Rayburn 12- In the first quarter GP had a few turnovers and a couple bad plays on defense which led to the Sam Rayburn touchdowns. After this Galena Park's offense stole the show, and the defense shut SR down. That is pretty much the game summary in a nutshell.
Welcome to the site RGZ!. Thanks for the input.

The idea is to create confusion and disrupt the play. And if you're worried about the run, you still have the beast at middle linebacker who you could offset from Wright to keep the middle secure. I don't know, just a thought. Don't go expecting me to work all the kinks out. ;D I'm just a proffesional valve turner.
I knew what you meant. Darrian is nothing short of a disruption no matter where he is. we've got to get pressure on GP's QB this friday... I bet we'll see some things we haven't seen so far this year.
I agree Dayton. That's what sparked this idea. Pressure on the QB. Gotta have it, just ask the Texans.
You might be right about the audibles, at least with some of the more advanced offenses. But I still think you get your best pass rusher outside. At least some of the time. Yall don't play Malcom at nose any do ya?
