Yes I did read that. Very good. Humor is one thing. But too many go for the "easy laugh" at the expense of others. To me, it's alot harder to be funny on your own merit than it is to just throw insults back and forth and put a smiley face at the end and think it's funny.

Take the Dude for example. To me, he's one of the funniest posters on the board. But he does it in dry, quiet way that really doesn't target anyone. (well sometimes maybe) :D

No awards for you yet BRONX, that was just an example. There are some way ahead of you (or behind...depends how you look at it). Tyronne, your hero and mentor for example, has an SPP of 4.4! Or for every 4 1/2 posts, he says something that pisses someone off. So you still have a ways to go. But keep striving son! Something tells me you'll get there. :D

At least we can tell for sure who the indivual "most obnoxious" posters are. Just take a look at the karma. I think there could also be another karma stat added that would be helpful, and that's a smite's per post ratio. (SPP) Let's look at this for a moment.

Let's take the Dude since he started this thread. He has 462 posts with 24 "smites". That's right at a pace of [glow=red,2,300]20[/glow] SPP. Or for every 20 posts he get's a smite.

Now let's look at another Dayton Fan; BRONX ROX. His (SPP) is [glow=red,2,300]6.6![/glow]

And finally let's compare those numbers with BH89-2: 1561/223 = [glow=red,2,300]7[/glow] (SPP)

So in conclusion, the lower the number, the worse you are. Of the three examples here BRONX RONX is the most obnoxious. Wow! Kinda surprised me really cause smoking baby is really obnoxious!

Valid points 92. I said at the beginning of the season that Fowler would be the play maker for this team. Just hasn't materialized since Jakari has done so well. Mcbride shows heart and potential. I just don't see him carrying this team yet. Maybe next year though.

Defense is still there. But we all have seen that if left on the field too long they are vulnerable too. (Angelton, Ike) They are great but not invincable. The offense has to help them out.

They'll probably just rotate Baldwin and McBride in at RB and change the play calling a little and hope for the best.

We'd all like to "believe" that the Broncos can suck it up and win without JD, but it's going to be tough. North Forest and King...sure probably. Crosby, maybe. Playofffs, doubtful. JD is [b]THE[/b] hoss on this team. The team relys on him for the big play. The offense is not balanced enough to be effective without him.

Go back and look at the games. The only time the Broncos punt is when JD doesn't break one or they choose not to go to him that series. Can anyone remember a first down made by any other player? Possibly Baldwin on a bubble screen. But that's been a while. One or two passes to other players for first downs this whole season. I'm not talking about trash time here either. Strangely enough, there has been several TD passes to other players, just not many for drive sustaining first downs. There are other talented players no doubt, just not on his level, and not utilized enough. (IMO) Hopefully you're right Dayton, this will force the offense to adapt and be better in the long run for it. Good point.

Bottom line is, this offense just lost over half it's production. Here's to a speedy recovery!  8)

It's sad that it takes something like this to put things in perspective for us. Even after the tragic loss of Reggie Garret earlier this season, we all want to get back to business as usual so fast because we love football so much. Just sorta makes all the smack talk stuff seem....silly I guess. Life is precious.

The accident happened shortly after 7:30 p.m. Gettysburg Avenue was closed in both directions for most of the night.
Southwestern College nursing student Frances White, 25, said she came upon the scene shortly after the wreck with fellow student Kenetha Kirk. The wreck trapped everyone involved in their vehicles, White said.
White said a man trapped in one of the cars begged her to remove the baby to safety, which she did. Another passerby showed up with a fire extinguisher and prevented the car from catching fire before police and fire crews arrived, she said.

Phone was dying...  They came out firing, but Brenham made the necessary adjustments at halftime.  We didn't give up a point the second half, till the game was already at hand, with 0:02 secs left.  Even then, it took all 3 TO's and a 59 yard scamper from Dobbins, to do so.  I was almost positive we had him wrapped up, but he reversed his field and got away.  We had a 13 point cushion at that time, so all it did was pad stats.  So.....  Next week, y'all ready for revenge? ;)
