I am not sure I follow you. WOS runs an odd front base which includes a 50 depending on who they are playing. I don't believe I have ever discussed the "Cornel Thompson 50". I have discussed the WOS fans that have no idea what they are talking about when they are complaining about WOS current coaching staff and the defense that they run.

Most coaches will not seek to be in an environment where they are not valued by the community. If they are not paid well and have the worst resources it lets a potential coach know where the district values lie.

Tarkington been changing drivers for a while with similar results. Time to look at the car and crew chief. What is one positive thing that Tarkington can offer to a potential coach? Poor pay? The worst resources in 4A for the entire state of Texas? Talent deficit?

Yes, Tarkington "just hasnt got the right coach yet" (for many decades), similar to "Huntington". FYI, Tarkington has a great coach now. You might want to look internally as opposed to blaming every coach in the history of Tarkington ISD. ***Who was the coach prior to Belt? Is he a good coach?

You dont "out talent" Shepherd at the moment. It will be worse next year, 18 JR starters will be returning for Shepherd.

The current personnel are the worst seen in several decades. They were that way before the current coach arrived and everyone knew this would happen. FYI, when the current freshman arrive on varsity, Jasper will be good again regardless of who the coach is at the time.

West Columbia is the district champion playing a fourth-place team that has never won a playoff game in 4A and is the overwhelming favorite. WC should start planning for Sealy.

Tarkington and Huntington were not in that district.

I suspect Shepherd and Tarkington would likely go to the Bellville district or a North district could form again. Keeping in mind that Hitchcock will be moving up and into the district with Lamarque and company. There are a lot of moving parts.
