Every HC was a coordinator before they were a HC. However, I dont recall comparing his resume with anyone.

McDougald had a pretty good resume. Dont know much about the guy they ended up hiring.

I think Woodville actually rates higher than Warren in terms of academics.

NIL is probably a bigger factor than quality of the education.

None of those equal Newton. All of those teams can drop back at any time. Newton is a constant.

Ok, that is definitely some good things about Warren. There are many things outside of football that many people value. I would be willing to bet that the kids in Warren are generally disciplined and respectful to coaches.

Low cost of living. Low crime rate. Quality education experience for kids. Quiet lifestyle.

What exactly is "bad" in Warren?

When you folks run off the current coach you should target the little coaches for his replacement or at least get someone out of the stands to personnel the team for the new HC.

I think it was that "they needed to listen to the little league coaches" who really know how to use the players. WV is a lot like WOS in that their little league coaches know more than the HC and his staff.

Did anyone in WV think they would go back to the Championship game this year?

How does that compare with the history of Woodville? "Falling off"? "Better"? or "normal"? Keeping in mind that WV fanbase is among the most delusional in the state of Texas, just ran off the coach that led the to the State Championship because he "didnt know how to coach" and now dont like the newly hired coach because he "doesnt know how to coach either". Only WV fanbase knows how to coach and run a program.

When did the "falling off of Woodville" occur?

Warren needs a coach to come in with the intention of "making a life" in Warren and having a long-term plan. Anyone with an eye elsewhere will ultimately become impatient and bail out.

They will be better next year. JR class is the strength of the program at the moment.

Center has some of the nicest facilities in East Texas. The practice field is identical to the one in Marshall.
