  1. Hard to forecast a State Championship but that is on the agenda. Basketball as well. Doesn’t take much of a hiccup to fall short on State Championships. As for the player in discussion, Lane Kiffin, Steve Sarkisian, Ryan Day, Mike Elko and others believe him to be valuable for their programs. I doubt he has many equivalents in Texas and definitely not in 2A. He is currently the 54 ranked player in the nation for 2028.
  2. Just opened a new high school and basketball gym this year. Probably among the nicest in 2A
  3. Definitely "biased". Especially since there is nothing "negative" to say.
  4. Not the case in this scenario
  5. Probably so, but Canton is well past “above average”. Currently holds 36 FBS offers and has dominated camps against the top players in the nation.
  6. That is exactly what it is called. 15 year old kid gone from home. Not ready to be gone for the rest of his life.
  7. Set to make real run in 2A. 4 players holding FBS offers. 2 more with D2s. All of them play both ways.
  8. Agreed. SOC is a superior academic destination than PNG and almost all of the schools complaining.
  9. SOC is an "A" rated school. I believe PNG has a "B" rating. Why do you assume that no one moves to SOC for academic reasons?
  10. Mt Enterprise @ San Augustine JV: SA- 8 TDs (scored on 6 consecutive offense snaps) Mt E- 0 Var: SA- 2 TDs Mt E- 0 did not get a first down, scrimmage cut short. **No live period.
  11. I believe Shepherd scored 3 and OF scored 2.
  12. Ken Houston is the best. To say otherwise is not serious discussion.
  13. Thursday 8/13 Mt Enterprise @ San Augustine 6:00 pm.
  14. Fairly simple for the coaches who are “sick of it”: 1. Regulate it through their membership on the DEC. 2. Don’t sign off on transfers. **The reason they don’t follow these steps is because they have similar in their own programs. Every school in Texas receives players and loses players.
  15. Have not seen an answer yet. Just that a few kids transferred. There is not a school in Texas that did not gain new students or lose new students. **worthy of note that no one is mentioning the schools that do not win big and anything about their “transfers”.
  16. How do you know? How many people moved to or from SOC in the past year? And what were each of their reasons? (been waiting on someone with direct knowledge like yourself). Why did the DEC not reject the SOC transfers? Since it would directly hurt their schools? Did PNG submit any PAPFs this year?
  17. How is he eligible? If he broke a rule? How was he approved by the DEC? I suspect every school in the district submitted PAPFs for transfers. Do you any info on the transfers to the other schools in the district? Or just the teams that are good?
  18. He transferred. Transferring is not illegal. What rule was broken.
  19. You produced exactly "nothing".
  20. If the process has been followed there is nothing "illegal". Coaches can check the box if they want to or not. Even if they do not check the box, the DEC still reviews the transfer and can still not accept the transfer. They can also "accept" the transfer even if the former coach check's the box. Seen both in the last month.
  21. What scam? Just making allegations does not make it true. Understanding that you want it to be true. Feel free to tell us exactly what rule was broken.
  22. Every player that transfers goes through the same PAPF process. That is not debatable.
  23. That is the same for all schools regardless. Open enrollment is irrelevant. It does help stock up the lower grades.
