I think the first number he listed combined Hispanic and whites. Hispanic not being a race but an "ethnicity". The second mention of Hispanic adds the ethnic description of "Latino".

36+30.9+26.9 = 93.8? Would leave 6.2% for other and 2 or more races? BTW, the school demographics have a larger Hispanic population reflecting the age demographics of the town.

Never been a problem for me. Center is a majority black and white demographic. Vast majority of Hispanic students speak English. Where do you get your information?

Well, he was a unanimous selection. So every coach in the district (including HF) felt the pick was accurate.

Mark me down as someone who is stating very clearly that they were mimicking the imagery of what is portrayed by artists on Death Row Records. You have also specifically stated that the kids were mimicking the imagery by shooting a “video with guns”. Like videos by artists on “Death Row Records”. NOT A SINGLE PERSON said anything about the shooting being INTENTIONAL.

You definitely "hope/wish" he is trying to build his "OWN" legacy at PNG. If he goes to SLC and wins big his "legacy" will take care of itself.

You have no idea if the “Death Row moniker” had anything to do with it. One thing for certain, it is a settled and indisputable fact that the kids were doing and portraying the absolute exact same thing that were done by Death Row artists in their videos. Still quite a bit of information to be found out on the incident.

No doubt. Increased scrutiny when players are shooting each other as well. A lot of programs out there where players never shoot each other.

The defense could have definitely been named "Sunshine and Daffodils" but instead they were named "Death Row". Coincidentally, there was an incident where the kids happened to be portraying the specific imagery associated with "Death Row" and one of the players got shot and one got arrested (also imagery associated with Death Row). When drastic and violent events happen with your program, you can expect newfound scrutiny. Its all fun and game till someone gets shot.

The SETX 4AD1 district contains 3 schools who "opt up" specifically to avoid the 4AD2 schools in SETX. 9-4AD2 is one of the tougher districts in the state. I suspect that WOS has a better historical pedigree than any school you have named other than Carthage (perhaps Gilmer).
