Anyone see the 4AD2 from DCTF yet?
-
No surprise there. He is a great coach
-
Yes, “knowing what to do” is not the problem.
-
I am not sure. I believe Jasper may have a few pieces on defense that can enable them to compete better than some of the others. Hard to imagine Jasper being better on offense than Silsbee. Every game is different and you never know how teams will match up or who will have a bad day. With that being said, I expect Bellville to play Carthage in the Championship and it is difficult to see a scenario where they do not win this game comfortably. If I was Jasper I would show up looking to pull off the win.

Understood about Jasper coach. For confirmation, you were unable to find were I said “Coldspring was on the level with Franklin”? If you really do your research, you will see where I said Franklin was the top team in the Region by themselves.
-
No doubt. Injuries and attrition took its toll. CS definitely did not reach the objectives.
-
For clarification: "You are out of your mind if you think there is a coaching deficiency in Jasper". 1. I missed the mark on Columbus. 2. You will not find a single post where I said CS was on the level with Franklin.

San Antonio Pieper vs Liberty Hill - 5aD2 Region 4 Championship

Not sure who will win this, but it seems inevitable that PNG will be playing SOC again in Arlington. -
Agree X 10

You dont know what you are talking about. You have no clue as to what is going on that influences the coach's decisions. Jasper has a great coaching staff.
-
You are completely out of your mind of you think there is a coaching deficiency at Jasper.

He may be the champion for "making statements that have been proven wrong".

Seems like Rudder should go with District 11 in that format.

Carthage is definitely the favorite to win the Championship for this year and the next two years. However, they do not have a matchup for 99 on BV. It might not matter, but it will be advantage BV DL vs Carthage OL.
-
No doubt on the BV defense but Carthage will have similar to the players other than #99. The mismatch that 99 creates, sets the table for the others.
-
Except for the teams that "win it all". They are able to "win it all" with "that offense".
-
So Silsbee lacks a “decent coaching staff” and “talent on defense”?
-
How about Franklin? How do they do?
-
No doubt. Carthage got some good linemen also. Especially Kash.
-
And never says anything about the hundreds of spread teams that fail.
-
lol, “always gets done”. Except when the teams win the State Championship.
-
Carthage does not have an equivalent to 99 for Bellville. Carthage will be the favorite until someone beats them but 99 will be a problem for Carthage.
-
Bellville is better this year. The "blueprint" is to win the battle at the line of scrimmage. Blueprint does not work when you cant win the physicality battle.

"Silsbee didn't stop the run"? You said all they need to do was "stack the box" with "8", Silsbee put 11 in the box and still couldn't stop it. Why? Do the Silsbee coaches "not know what you know"? All 13 coaching staffs Bellville has faced do "not know what you know"? What play do you think Silsbee should have called on offense? Which play did they not call that would have worked? Would love for you to point to the example that Bellville defense is not "impenetrable". Jasper has already faced a Slot T team once this year and were unable to find an answer, maybe they will do better this time (assuming Belville is not as good as the other Slot T team). Comical to see you double down on your takes in the face of being completely wrong.
-
Which is surprising, considering you said all Silsbee needed to do was stack the box. Silsbee frequently had 11 in the box could not stop BV 5 "5 plays". I wonder if there is more stopping the offense than "stacking the box"? The problem with the Silsbee offense was that they were completely outmanned. Silsbee had no answer for 99 who completely upended the Silsbee OL. Through his destruction the rest of the BV defense had it their way. Had nothing to do with "playcalling", there were no plays to call that were going to stop the demolition.
