"No numbers have been made official by the UIL". I must concede that you truly know your stuff when it comes to coaching. What is the "Snapshot" that is turned in during the last week of October? and what does that number mean? Are those numbers "official"?
Lacking your knowledge base, I am trying to get clarification on the process.
"Right now", Today. Who is the smallest school in the District? Is it Desoto? Did they go into the D2 bracket because they are inferior athletically? and could not hang with the "big boys" (your term)?
Glad you "coached ball for a living". If you coached for any length of time, you would not be making these silly comments about D2 being substandard to D1 in 6A.
I may not be smart, but I was able to get you look up the definition of "literally". I noticed you quit using the word.
Again, teams go D2 or D1 based upon their enrollment. If a team is the smallest school in the District, they will be D2. Also, Katy has won a D1 Title. You were wrong again.
Out of the teams that go to the playoffs, are they the "smallest" school? You are aware that 6AD2 is based upon which two schools are the "smallest" out of the teams in the playoffs.
Who do you believe is smaller than Desoto in the District? They will be 5AD1 next year.
Padilla has them in 5AD1 w/ Red Oak, HP, Lufkin, Tyler, N Mes, West Mes, and Midlothian. Would be interesting to see them meet up with Aledo in the playoffs.
Yep, Bellville defense has probably given up the fewest points in the State this year and the offense has probably scored the most points in the State. Seems to be working well.
Yep, supposed to tell the RBs to stop and take a knee after 10 yds and "not run into the endzone". If you score too quick you put your defense in a bad position where they give up 6 pts per game with 7 shutouts in 12 games.
Jasper has a better chance at Cuero than HF did. Jasper has better athletes and could have mounted a serious charge at the District Championship. If Jasper has fully rounded into form, they may win this game.
Actually "WE" agree that Bellville is prepared for Silsbee offense because BV has better and more physical players than Silsbee. BV defense will field the single best player on the field and Silsbee will have no answer.
Silsbee defense will likewise be ill-prepared for BV superior physicality and discipline. Silsbee LBs will be lost trying to figure out which RB to key vs the Gs. While being lost in confusion the more powerful BV OL will be blasting them into the turf.
The only question is whether Silsbee can play better than they did against Sealy/WOS and offer a competitive game with Bellville.
