Yep, Bellville defense has probably given up the fewest points in the State this year and the offense has probably scored the most points in the State. Seems to be working well.
Yep, supposed to tell the RBs to stop and take a knee after 10 yds and "not run into the endzone". If you score too quick you put your defense in a bad position where they give up 6 pts per game with 7 shutouts in 12 games.
Jasper has a better chance at Cuero than HF did. Jasper has better athletes and could have mounted a serious charge at the District Championship. If Jasper has fully rounded into form, they may win this game.
Actually "WE" agree that Bellville is prepared for Silsbee offense because BV has better and more physical players than Silsbee. BV defense will field the single best player on the field and Silsbee will have no answer.
Silsbee defense will likewise be ill-prepared for BV superior physicality and discipline. Silsbee LBs will be lost trying to figure out which RB to key vs the Gs. While being lost in confusion the more powerful BV OL will be blasting them into the turf.
The only question is whether Silsbee can play better than they did against Sealy/WOS and offer a competitive game with Bellville.
Yep, that is all Silsbee has to do is stack the box. Every team BV played this year has defensive coaches that know the same thing. In fact, they all tried to do it.
All Bellville has to do bash Silsbee into oblivion like they did to all the teams that Silsbee struggled with. Smash them on the line of scrimmage and run straight over them. Then overwhelm the Silsbee offense with physicality.
It is Bellvilles game to lose.
