  1. Glad you "got it", did you read the entire quote? Referencing opponents in the next round is a perfectly relevant addition to a playoff thread, particularly when the primary/current game is a "laugher"
  2. It does "good" for me. I enjoy conversations that aggravate "forum judiciary". Referencing opponents in the next round is a perfectly relevant addition to a playoff thread, particularly when the primary/current game is a "laugher". I would ask the question: "What good does it do for anyone to discuss a non-competitive matchup"? And follow it up with: "Why worry about a comment made by another poster when all you have to do is disregard the comment and not engage"?
  3. Coldspring enrollment dropped to 500 last year. No chance they will become 4AD2 unless the cut drops from 544.
  4. Coldspring is nowhere near 4AD2. Lost enrollment last realignment. Shepherd is more likely to go back to 3AD1 once the current freshman class passes through. The freshman class at Shepherd is drastically larger than any other class.
  5. I don’t imagine Splendora will. I can see Cleveland dropping if they split and create a new high school in Colony Ridge/ Plum Grove.
  6. Understood. Did not sway Liberty school board. Therefore, working at Cleveland does not necessarily “torpedo your chances to be hired elsewhere”.
  7. A 4A HC/AD job is not a step down for any coordinator.
  8. The demographics are polar opposite and the corresponding challenges that go with them. Also Splendora did not add 800 students in 2 years. Splendora had experienced organic growth whereas Cleveland experienced artificial and accelerated growth. Splendora has a supportive tax base whereas Cleveland has an adversarial tax base at war with the offending developer of the artificial growth. Growth in Splendora is similar to New Caney. The situation in Cleveland is unprecedented in American history.
  9. So, coaching at Cleveland does not necessarily “torpedo someone’s chances of being hired elsewhere”? I have not met many coaches that think poorly of Cleveland coaches. Most have tremendous respect for them and do not hold the circumstances at Cleveland against them and their coaching abilities
  10. Understood, so would it be accurate to say: “going to Cleveland did not torpedo his chances to be hired elsewhere”?
  11. Yes, definitely torpedoed Kedrick Harrison
  12. There is nothing remotely similar between the situations in Splendora and Cleveland.
  13. Not Slot T but it is a similar type offense.
  14. Lot of teams “live and die” with the spread. Almost every state champion will be running the spread this year.
  15. Make sure you comment within the confines of what the forum police dictate. Especially when it evokes memories of the trauma sustained in last year’s matchup with Bellville.
  16. There “quick rise” is due to Kavian Bryant
  17. The "running game" against OF was out with injury.
  18. Perhaps, He is overwhelmingly the conduit for the offense.
  19. CS best player not available tonight
  20. EC not going to have an edge in “speed”. Speed is advantage CS.
  21. There have been run based offenses since football was invented. Injuries happen in every type of offense with the same frequency
  22. Will not be any Slot T, might be some “double wing”
  23. They may have the best HS athlete in the state at QB. Will last for the rest of this year till his brother arrives from 8th grade.
  24. Also, to do this to a school like Cleveland is beyond pathetic. No respect for Willis coaches and I don’t care how they attempt to avoid accountability. Coaches saw it and still happened.
