  1. They are likely to struggle in any configuration of 4AD2 districts.
  2. 5AD1 would be easier than 6A for both of those schools.
  3. Tarkington on the bubble. Shepherd is moving up. Incoming 9th grade for Shepherd is massive.
  4. The D1 colleges believe PNG to have more talent.
  5. Did not say anyone was going to "disappear". However, the only limiting factor on Dayton this year is that FBM and PNG have more talent to the point where it will be difficult for Dayton to overcome. The talent level at Dayton will jump next year and the gap between the others will be gone. With Ware's system in place and equal (to more) talent, Dayton will be the favorite (my call). You may very well need to see more but I have seen enough to feel confident in my prediction.
  6. Dayton will not "fade" as long as Coach Ware is HFC. They may have some years where they do not win the district but they will not "fade". However, after this year they will likely be competing for District Championship and be favorites for at least a 3 year run.
  7. You don’t remember any of my Dayton predictions other than those which have come to pass. Whether Nederland stays down or not they will not be beating Dayton anytime soon. And playoff matchups from years ago are not relevant. I am not assuming anything but making a prediction based on what I know about the program and the talent coming up through the pipeline.
  8. Dayton is not my team but I have always supported Coach Ware and been steadfastly confident in his process.
  9. That is correct. Coach Ware took over a decade long dumpster fire. It takes some time to instill the degree of discipline that Dayton has now. Dayton operation is first rate (though I do understand you dont want to believe it). I look forward to hearing back from you when my predictions come to pass.
  10. Dayton did not lose enough starters for Nederland to be in play. Dayton also has some key players joining. Dayton is well above where Nederland is at the moment and next year (and the next few after) Dayton will be a favorite for the District Championship. The players that left are why Dayton is likely to finish 3rd this year. Dayton system and process are among the best in the state. Nederland is at the place where they hope to beat GP, Willowridge and SF.
  11. Beating "Nederland" only makes a program "not a bottom feeder". But Dayton will be contending for District Championships in the foreseeable future (after this year). Dayton is probably tracking for 3rd this year for reasons mentioned by others regarding turnover.
  12. It says a lot. Feel free to confirm or dispel its accuracy after they play during the season. Nederland will not be beating Dayton for the foreseeable future.
  13. There is no chance Nederland will beat Dayton.
  14. I watched some of their film and did not see a RB that looked overly prolific. Just wondering if he might have been on JV last year.
  15. What number was he last year?
  16. Was he #13 last year?
  17. Understood. Many RBs play similar schedules, and none (or few) have eclipsed his production. He is 6'2" 200 lbs and runs a 10.5 100m. Multiple D1 colleges (and their "analysts") believe he can play RB and have extended offers to do so.
  18. Lol. In comparison to what schools? Compared to Carthage all schools are weak. How many yards did everyone else have against Carthage?
  19. I could see him going to LB because he is likely to carry 220-225 lbs within a year. However, I have not seen another RB put his foot down and cut like him in many years.
  20. What do you believe he “projects” as at the next level?
  21. Not sure what schedule you are talking about. You believe Tatum, North Desoto, Daingerfield, Van, Rusk are “weak”?
  22. Understood. Dixon is one those D1 backs and there are not 30 RBs better than him. His production is the result of his ability.
  23. Picked mine up today at Walgreens in Cleveland. Shocking note that DCTF does not have Kaden Dixon from Center listed in the top 30 RBs. I would love to hear how many RBs in the state had more than 33 TDs and 2200 YDS rushing last year.
  24. LOL. WOS doesn't have athletes to run 3-4. They have athletes to run a "50", but not "3-4". 1. I wonder how many of the naysayers could watch a 50 or 3-4 on film and tell the difference? 2. What specific personnel is at WOS that enables them to run a "50" but not a "3-4"?
  25. They have made many statements that the retail release would be reduced this year as retail distribution is not in their future business model. They want everyone to get the online subscription.
