They are not "beatable" for Aledo.

Sit tight. Clarity is on the horizon. What we see from time to time is that inferior teams display the ability to be competitive for a few minutes but once the game settles in the superior team pulls away from the inferior. Hopefully Aledo can win this week and you will get experience first-hand what PAM and Crosby experienced. Should be a good educational opportunity.

Yes, getting run off the field does not impress PAM. Nor will LV winning a State Championship. PAM only a few plays away, even though they got a mudhole stomped in them in every phase of the game and are nowhere near winning a Championship themselves.

Credit to Gilmer for keeping it close. No doubt that Gilmer is the 2nd best 4A team D1 or D2 in the State.

I guess we know what the toughest district in the region is.

Carthage would run CS straight off the field with Carthage being superior at every position. No comparison.

How has Arglye done in 5A? Carthage would stomp them handily. Longview is not in 5AD2.

They have Freshman RB that would start on most teams. Should Carthage have a 42 point lead, they may pull starters. They will never allow Gilmer to close the gap to 18 points. Carthage also know that Pittsburg is horrible and incapable of anything resembling a threat.

The only way Gilmer scores 27 is if Carthage scores 60+. Under 50, Carthage will keep their starters in.

Carthage will win in a "non-competitive" game. No chance for Gilmer or anyone else in the state.
