Agree 100%. anyone who believes that talent in Tarkington is similar to Liberty Hill or Stephenville is living in a fantasy world. No one in Stephenville or Tarkington ever had a day in their life where they "saying the same thing" as Tarkington.

He was found guilty of "nothing".

I have seen them both intimately this year. Always felt Diboll had the better infield but I gave CH the edge elsewhere. Both can hit. -

Thought this would be close. Cant believe CH was a no show. -
Yep, we "missed the point". Posting should only comply with your rules.

Agreed, I dont understand why anyone would want to post their thoughts in a forum? Forums are not designed for posters to provide their thoughts an opinions.

Cry me a river.

Agreed, If Cam Newton's dad was to coach Tarkington. They could have a winning season.
-
Was Kendall Bryles the QB? If so, that is better than anything that has/will ever go through Tarkington.
-
The "patience" of Job would be insufficient for Tarkington to develop into a winning program.
-
Ok, how many years has it been since Vance left? How many years was Vance in LH? How has the program done without Vance? Were they in the State Championship this year? Without Vance?
-
Also, the new coach has done just as well as Vance. Vance did not win the title every year he was at LH.
-
????What has been their record since he left? Have they played less than 13 games in any season? Did they make it to the title game this year? Semi-Final 3 years ago? Seems like they are doing decent? Did Vance win the title every year? Did Vance's successor have the same winning %? or better?
-
Tarkington definitely has a "chance to win some games". Make sure you play Huntington, HD, WH, or Hardin. That is what they (and Tarkington) are for: " a chance to win some games" and "homecoming opponent".
-
Is Tarkington forecasting to be an affluent area of the North Austin Hill Country? If so, you might be right.

The good thing is that there are playoffs and rankings mean nothing. Will be interesting to see what they are ranked 3-4 rounds into the playoffs when all the "deserving teams" are being eliminated. Rusk likely has the best pitcher in the state and he was not available until last week. Expect a "miraculous" turnaround for an "undeserving team".
-
They are voting on "who is pitching now and what they are at this time". Everyone (including the voters) know the story.
-
I suspect the voters know who just returned to pitch.
-
Bill Belichick could not go .500 at Tarkington.

Agree 100%. As a member of the "peanut gallery" you entitled to say anything you want. Always more experts in the stands than on the sidelines. If the coaches could ever find a way to tap into the knowledge of the stands, there is no telling how much greatness they could achieve.

?? Can you read? I believe you can read the transcript where I said "he did not become dumb all of a sudden". The Jasper coaches did not quit, they worked hard, they are good coaches and the team they fielded this year was very tough. Is that enough clarity for you? You seem like a coaching expert. Is it possible the players would not do what they were told? Is it possible they could not run a different offense? Is it possible that the coaches tailored the offense/defense to the players? How many times have you put in a game plan? for Carthage? etc?
-
LOL, you got me figured out. I am a "Rusk Eagle fan". You were closer to the mark with your fantasies about the Jasper coaching staff.
-
You may not be "alone" but if you think the Jasper coaches "quit" you are out in space. Quote all the threads you want but no one "quit" and Jasper fielded a formidable team and they finished strong. The Barbay "you had" did not become dumb all of a sudden, nor did they run a "Jr High type offense". Did you personally personnel the squad? What did they do at practice? What were the skill sets of each position group? Did any of the key spots/players have limitations? These are questions for which you surely have the answer?
-
Has any other coach in Jasper's history had a "3rd round ceiling"? or is Barbay the first?
