  1. Hearing WV was able to score a TD with Livingston scoring 3. WV 2s were able to score twice on LV JV. I am sure the WV folks are excited about the new season and the offensive improvement from last year. Keeping in mind that they could have beat Gunter last year with “better coaching” on offense. I imagine they will start "looking towards Newton" now that they scored a TD.
  2. The QB did not play in the first game. Would have looked a lot different if he did.
  3. Are they "capable of scoring against Crockett"? We haven't seen them do that at the "current level this year".
  4. Yep, and I have heard that Crockett ran at will on WV. Can’t see a scenario where Newton running game would not be more formidable than Crockett.
  5. And fortunately, none of those 6 will be against "Crockett". No telling what Crockett will look like when they get adjusted to the new offensive system.
  6. Perhaps, but they definitely kept it to themselves. Probably don’t need to worry about Newton.
  7. No. At this moment it appears that WV would be unable to beat Crockett.
  8. Hate it for the kids but I am surprised they played last year
  9. CS without their QB and best DL in the scrimmage. CS might be down a bit but the QB would have made the game a lot different.
  10. At least they didnt have the coaches that took them to State Championship. No telling how bad it would have been with those coaches.
  11. Hearing Woodville did not score against Crockett. Was anyone at the scrimmage?
  12. They got a good QB. I am certain of that.
  13. What does “gonna be thought” mean?
  14. United just hit the lottery.
  15. QB was more than a game manager and looked good enough to be the varsity QB last year as a freshman
  16. The QB was the best one, not sure why he would have went to United.
  17. Did WB keep last year’s freshman group in tact? If so, they should be rising quickly.
  18. Will be great TV. Part of “50 States in 50 Days” series by ESPN
  19. Hopefully everyone will think twice before yelling at and demeaning the refs. I roll my eyes when I hear coaches and fans carry on about officiating. Almost every game I have ever been a part of that ended in a loss could have been won with better tackling, blocking, catching, throwing, etc rather than any calls the officiating made or didn't make. You cant change the refs, concentrate on the things you can control which is primarily "your team's execution".
  20. Perhaps, they would need many new players to “run away with the District”.
  21. LCM if I had to guess.
