Actions should have consequences. Drunk driving should be punished heavily. That's my argument. Your argument is "the police should have let him go because he wanted to walk home". Your argument alludes that drunk driving is OK.

He was in the drive through! He obviously had been driving and was blocking traffic. I can't believe I'm having to argue against drunk driving, I thought that was something everyone could get behind. How messed up do you have to be to fall asleep in the drive through???

Yes. Yes they do have to arrest him. No one needs to be driving around drunk. I've had 3 relatives killed by drunk drivers.

You cannot "love America" but hate the constitution. We cannot be America without the constitution, it's wrapped up in the fiber of what being an American is. Our constitution is what allowed people to challenge and ultimately overcome slavery. Without the constitution the decision (slavery or no slavery) is left in the hands of the people with money...what do you think they do? The constitution defends OUR freedoms as Americans.

So what you're saying is anything done during slavery is not for all Americans? And insulting? So.... Anything in the constitution prior to the end of the Civil War needs to be thrown out? You can't believe that needs to happen, but that is what you are preaching.
