Good point but it's still odd how Kelly can't hardly put a good enough team together to be consistently good at whatever level they're playing but other schools that aren't supposed to be putting teams together seem to consistently do it pretty well. LOL Just pointing that out

If I'm not mistaking Kelly is allowed to recruit since they're a private school. I always found it odd that schools like Kelly seem to get out recruited by some of these public schools in the UIL

Well I think Newton's case might be a little different. They're probably more concerned with things like travel distance for games rather than being able to compete.

They were good a while back and lost a good coach which led to a drop in participation. They had another new coach come in last year and it looks like he has the program up and running

No doubt he's a good player and is probably gonna get better but he needs to prove himself at the varsity level before folks start claiming he's the best this and that. WW's predistrict schedule was pretty weak and he's played one district game and didn't have one td in that game. How does that make him the best anything?

Man I hate we won't have those 2 on our defense this year. Would make us a little tougher. I saw Barts injury at the end of last weeks game. It looked like it might be bad but I was hoping it wasn't.
