I remember many years Woodville hasn’t performed up to their potential. It’s a habit you have to break when building a winning culture. Only thing most people remember is the the numbers on the scoreboard. You have to show your the better team on the scoreboard or your just blowing smoke.

Based on how both teams have performed thus far Lorena is probably favored to win by 3 scores. But knowing what these eagles are capable of I got the eagles in a upset. Go eagles! 🦅

Looking at the stats from the Yoakum game has me wondering how LRA beat Yoakum. Yardage was pretty lopsided in Yoakum’s favor. I think EC will win this game if Perault’s healthy

They’re a very good team. I think we have a little more talent at the skill positions. They’re probably a little better up front. They have a couple RBs who are decent and a quarterback who’s pretty accurate. They run a offense that’s simulare to ours but they have better play calling and the players execute more precisely. They’re definitely the favorites but I doubt they beat us by 50

It’ll be a tough one for sure. I believe Lorena is top 5 in the state and probably the favorite to win region 3. They’re not impossible to beat or anything like that though. I expect our guys to have the best performance so far and possibly pull off the upset.

You may be right about the results of the Diboll/Buna game but I just think you probably can’t make too much of Diboll’s rough start. They had the same type of start last year and didn’t have much trouble against Buna in bi-district. Other than that you shared some good facts

Not sure Woodville wins by 60. Even if we do get a big lead we’ll probably call the dogs off early. Crockett has a couple athletes and history has shown sometimes that’s all it takes to have a shot at Woodville

EC vs Huntington Woodville vs Crockett Diboll vs Buna Coldspring vs Anahuac Any thoughts on these matchups? My opinion is Anahuac vs Coldspring will be the most competitive. Woodville vs Crockett could possibly get interesting also.
