How is telling the truth about how they played tonight ridiculous Are you going to tell me that the defense played good! I certainly hope they win next week, but like I said the defense has 3 practices to right the ship. I just don’t think they can do it after watching them get mauled tonight, but I hope I am wrong

The only thing that stopped Huntsville’s offense in either half was penalties They ran over the Bulldogs like a train running over a car

That is correct, but probably the 4 seed if Montgomery QB scrambles. Nederland’s secondary does not contain well or tackle well or cover well and the LB’ers other than #6 are basically non existent, so the Bulldogs better score a lot of points I was hoping #1 seed after tonight’s game, however watching the defense tonight I just don’t see them winning

Yes I did and the defense was about as bad in the second half as they were the first

Yes special teams hurt again, however a pathetic defense was the deciding blow

PNG 6-1 plays 4 seed at home Huntsville 5-2 plays 3 seed at home Montgomery 5-2 plays 2 seed away Nederland 5-2 plays 1 seed away

Well the good news is Coach Rich and staff have done a very nice job this year and the Bulldogs will be in the playoffs The bad news is after watching their defense tonight they will be the 4th seed after Montgomery beats them next week and will get a long trip to Texarkana 7-4 season is much improved from the past several seasons

It has been a year since I have seen a Bulldog defense this bad

Nederland’s defense went from looking pretty good the past 2 weeks to pathetic tonight

And Nederland’s LB’ers and secondary are no where in site

Nederland defense forgot to show up

Hopefully they will continue like last year, but win the conference tournament this year and make it to a regional

I am afraid it will be the same under Brooks as usual. Maybe they can be in the middle of the pack in conference

Yes I remember that they played each other in 1961 Nederland’s last year to make it to state just didn’t remember score. Nederland played Dumas for the championship and was about to score when Dumas intercepted in the end zone and Dumas wound up winning 6-0

Thanks for that, I knew they had played, but didn’t know how many times or the results. I could not find it anywhere I tried to get Nederland’s season by season results but couldn’t find them Thanks for the information and I certainly hope the Bulldogs win Friday night

Dallas May have the worst defense in the NFL. I know by watching them that they are poorly coached. Zero pressure on the QB and a secondary that has to rank as one of the worst in the NFL. The LB’ers are out of position all the time(that is poor coaching) Offensively the OL is not very good. They can’t run the ball, a ton of penalties, and the RT can’t pass protect at all. Prescott is average at best and may lead the lead in throwing interceptions I just don’t see much effort and they may not win more than 2 mores games this season

In the history of Nederland vs Huntsville, The Bulldogs have struggled against the Hornets, very few wins if any Nederland’s defense better play very well because they will not score many points. Huntsville will have the best defense the Bulldogs have seen all season Have a great week of work Bulldogs, certainly hope for a win

Yes I know he has basically given up 28 on dropping snaps I noticed last night they had Sunday punt. #19 is a good punter and kicker, he simply panics on catching a snap

They would possibly be state ranked if they would have beat Silsbee and remember they have 2 very tough teams left. Huntsville that is now in a must win to make the playoffs and Montgomery that is 4-1 in district Nederland simply needs to keep improving each week. Huntsville has the best defensive team in the district. Brenham beat them by 4, PNG beat them by 3, and LC beat them by 5 These last 2 district opponents are very good, so simply continue to improve

I don’t know if play calling sucked or Nederland played out data ding defense minus the secondary. I look for PNG to play very well next week and Nederland better because Huntsville is going to after Lake Creek beat them. Their 3 losses have been very close games

What a win for the Bulldogs Coach Rich and staff have the Bulldogs improving each week. Two outstanding teams. I look for PNG to come back just like the last 2 years after losses to PAM. The Dogs still have 2 very tough teams to play and PNG has 1

BC is much improved and Smalley is one of the top coaches in the area Lumberton is young and back to the friendly Raider days and by the way has the coach that left after the talent was gone have a win at Palestine. NO
