Playing WOS, PAM, and Silsbee really got the Dogs ready for district Looks like a varsity vs a JV Tells you how bad Willowridge is Where is all this potential talent at. Did they all stay home 1-9 is better than 0-10

QB was certainly a good change and he played very well. He actually ran better than he passed. I certainly hope the Dogs continue to improve especially receivers and secondary Just don’t know how much they improved because Willowridge is now officially playing like and HISD school and I don’t see them winning a game this season If the Dogs can beat Dayton, I will say they have improved a bunch

I remember those years. Extremely good on offense pretty good on defense. 2007 scored on 1st offensive possession in 9 out of the first 10 games. Did play very good defense vs Dayton and LaMarque good QB and good RB’s Hussy, Beard, and Hanna and Avery good OL. Defense did have some good lineman and LB’ers

You would think Haynes is coaching the Raiders again. Good offense but don’t think they can even spell defense. I don’t think the Raiders have ever played good defense in the history of the school

I would love for the Dogs to win this The 2 things that must improve this week for that to happen 1. The secondary play must improve 2. more than 1 receiver has to start catching the ball

Big Ned vs Dayton this week is big. Whoever wins comes in as the 4th place team. These 2 teams will not beat Marshall, PNG, or TC this season If Dayton can throw it will be tough for the Bulldogs because secondary is so weak this year

Glad to see the back ups in the 4th quarter even though it was a big difference #10 and # 50 played pretty good defense If they can continue to improve they have a chance to beat Dayton, GO, and SF and come in 4th at 4-6 They will not beat Marshall, PNG, or TC unless they improve a bunch and I mean a bunch

QB is playing very good not WB

I have to say I see many positives for the Bulldogs in the 1st half I know Willowridge is bad, however the OL is looking very good for the Bulldogs and the WB is playing extremely well minus the fumble which looked like the RB’s mistake The backs also look good. The only negative I see on offense in the 1st half is that they only have 1 reciever that can catch The defense is decent tonight. The big negative is I honestly don’t know if there is another 5A secondary as bad as Nederland’s The only other negative in the 1st half is the kickoff team is pretty weak All in all they have played a good 1st half

The 2 district cellar dwellers play to see who gets 1st win and become 1-0 in district who is it going to be?

Sorry, they are not many positives when you are 0-3 and you have been pounded in those 3 games I simply state the obvious and that is the Bulldogs are not good this season Hopefully they will be much improved next season

KF89 I never said they had no talent, I said they didn’t have much talent you still haven’t answered on where this talent is They have played 3 good teams, however WOS, Silsbee, and PAM are over rated and by the way, I don’t believe they have won a game Again you have no answers as to why they haven’t won could it be because they are not very good and only have a small amount of talent

Nederland’s defense improved some except secondary. Still weak there Offensively, they are just not very good. A couple of nice scores in the last quarter vs some Silsbee backups will not get it done District starts in 2 weeks and we will get to see which team survives in a matchup of the 2 teams with the worse non district records The one that loses will probably come in last in district and whoever wins will be come in anywhere from 5th to 7th

Best teams Nederland ever had was 1956-57 and 1961

I suggest you go back and read my post I said they don’t have much talent this season a true statement if they did they would not have gotten clobbered by WOS and PAM they may have lost but it would have been close I said if you have potential you need to get better and after 2 games they have gotten a little better another correct statement I said the coaching staff was not doing a very good job and they are not. Another correct statement I said if they don’t get better fast a possible 0-10 season. Another correct statement so I would say you did not look at my post very well If I am ignorant on talent, as you say, please explain why they have gotten clobbered the 1st 2 games and don’t give me that inexperience excuse because WOS and PAM were playing with some sophomores also Ket’s see, they are giving up 37 points a game and scoring 10.5

PAM is a good team will probably go about 3 rounds in playoffs, but their not very good on defense except for the 7 picks Nederland RB did a great job, but 2 of the runs went for about 120 still played a good game Texas City is better than Nederland as of today could be a good game if the Dogs improve. Last game of the season and depends on the Dogs record

Thank you KF89 you are correct WOS and PAM are good teams The reason they got blown out those 2 games was because they had much more talent, which had been my point this season FB Marshall and Texas City will be equal to WOS and PAM. Dayton is improving, and PNG will a tough game, so if Silsbee beats them, the season record will not be very good We will see at the end of the season whether you were correct on their talent this season or I was correct Have a great day

I hope you are right also My thoughts on the Bulldogs is not because they are 0-2, but because they have been BLOWN out both games. I don’t know whether it is due to a lack of talent, coaching, effort,or inexperience. It is probably a combination of all of these As of today, I see extreme weakness in these areas - QB, OL, and secondary Unless these position areas get better fast, the Bulldogs don’t have much chance of winning this season For those who disagree, I suggest that you go back and look at film of those 2 games and evaluate those 3 areas. If you do I think you will realize why I say this!

I hope you are right and they do win more than 1 game. They may be able to play with Willowridge, Galena Park, and Santa Fe and possibly could keep it close vs Dayton They will not beat FB Marshall, Texas Coty, or PNG this year I look for anywhere from 0-10 to 3-7. It depends on how well they play against Silsbee. If they are blown out again, they will finish somewhere between 0-10 and 2-8

I would love for the Dogs to go 16-0, however it is going to happen this year you again may be correct about potential Evidently my expectations are much higher than yours because when 4 teams from each district go to the playoffs each year, Nederland should go every year in my opinion I again do not believe they are competitive AS OF TODAY because they have been BLOWN OUT in both games thus far and if they don’t start competing they will go 0-10 Super glad you are a faithful Bulldog supporter, but again in my opinion you have to be realistic about the way they are playing. And right now they are not playing good football NOT EVEN CLOSE

No grudge, just watching the games and observing how it is played. You folks certainly may be right about potential, however potential means nothing if you do nothing with it When you get blown out 2 weeks in a row, the potential hasn’t done much possibly some improvement but not much and don’t start with how tough non district schedule is your either good or your not and as of today Nederland is not. I wish they were but they are not some of you folks are happy if they win and happy if they lose football is all about competing against your opponent and as of today the Bulldogs are not competing
