In my opinion if you graduated from Lumberton or live in Lumberton you should support all of their sports teams regardless if they win or lose

Lumberton has a very good chance of going 4-1 in non district. Unfortunately they will go 1-4 or 0-5 in district

should be a close game. Watching the Nederland/Silsbee game showed me that Nederland is slow also. Defense is weak and QB is extremely inaccurate throwing the ball. timing is way off. and I Don’t Barrow has ever beaten Faircloth

After calming down from the game and having time to evaluate the teams, this is my opinion Silsbee and WOS will battle for the district championship with OF, HF, HJ, and Liberty battling for the other 2 spots Silsbee and WOS have a lot of very good athletes. They will be fine Nederland showed a lot of character in coming back. That will help them in district They lack speed and must learn to quit arm tackling on defense. The offense could be good. It appears that the QB’s problem is that he throws many passes too late. He must improve on his timing Hopefully they will continue to improve and make the playoffs The district looks very good this year. It is going to be tough to make the top 4

I will say they did not quit, they kept battling, they better clean up the penalties, play much better on defense, and find a QB that can throw

I agree that the OL is hugh, however extremely slow and not very good as of today. hopefully will get much better as season progresses offense is the weak point as of today again hopefully will improve as season progresses

WOS is going to be fine Running backs are very good, QB will get better and defense looked solid. just have to reduce penalties Nederland will be fine if offensive line and QB improve Defense played better than I thought. They must work on special teams

Lumberton will be anywhere from 2-8 to 0-10 this season. An extremely poor hire, so expect the Friendly Raiders to be Friendlier than ever this season. Sorry Raider fans. However getting beat by Columbus is better than getting beat by Houston Waltrip

I agree that hat you need to play the best 11. There are crucial situations where they need to be on the field. Unfortunately Lumberton’s Superintendent did a friend of his a favor and hired this guy. According to some very reliable sources I talked with, he was way down the list on applicants to hire. They simply tell me that he is very unorganized and doesn’t know much about football. In fact one of the coaches said to expect the Raiders to give up about 50 a game this season. I hate to hear that. Hopefully they will improve and do much better than that

last year the Dogs offense was explosive had a fantastic RB and a good QB. It appears that the talent level has dropped off at those 2 positions and it also seems like the secondary’s talent level has dropped off. hope you are right and hope they improve, but as of now I don’t think they will score more than 7 vs WOS. hope I am wrong. sure want to see them do well

Crosby had a fantastic year. Aledo has been to state many times and is well coached and used to this type of game. They also have as good or better athletes than Crosby. Remember that they barely lost to a 6A team that is playing for a state title tomorrow. Hats off to both schools and incredible seasons!

Wow that is 4 undefeated teams Crosby has beaten in the playoffs. They are playing fantastic football. It also shows that the district was much stronger than people said. I know they will be the underdogs next week, but I wouldn’t count against them
