  1. Wow, I see your becoming negative and you still avoided my question. I guess your starting to hate hate is a bad thing purpleeagle
  2. I will agree that they are much better at home and hopefully will continue to improve They must get better on the road and I understand that road wins in college basketball are tough Hopefully they will
  3. The post you’re talking about was true. It is very sad to get beat by a team that was 3-12 and at that time Price’s teams did compete better. However, I do apologize to you, I was looking at my post before that one that said they were a little better and May finish in the middle of the pack. If they are going to be the 2nd seed, they will have to start winning on the road
  4. You read to put your glasses on pal. The statement said they weren’t much better at 9-9 and they may finish in the middle of the pack. Appears to me that you make your comments by not reading well. Yes, I agree that they are now playing much better than the past 2 years, however if they can’t win on the road they probably will finish in the middle of the pack
  5. At the beginning of the season as you recall they were not any better than the past 2 years and yes that post was at the beginning of the season, so yes when it was posted it was the truth Thank goodness they have overcome the poor play at the beginning of the season and are now playing well minus their road struggles
  6. Appears that the Cardinal basketball team is playing much better this season than the past 2 AggiesareWe. They have an outstanding home record this season. They will hopefully finish very strong. If they can start winning on the road, they will possibly finish 2nd. Hopefully that will be the case. Thanks for recognizing that I speak the truth
  7. Have you noticed that PNG is playing better non district opponents this year minus United
  8. They won the state championship. I believe I said it is my belief that you will be better prepared for your district opponents when you schedule better non district. Why? Because you have already faced better teams Simply my belief on how you have a good chance of being better prepared once you start district play
  9. I see that you did not answer my question, so you can forget the negative comment. If you have checked all post, you will have noticed they are all truths
  10. purple eagle you need to state IYO Nothing I have stated has been unfair. My comments have simply been the truth So you tell me Has Nederland been good under Barrow’s leadership? Have his assistant coaches done a good job?
  11. Well Mr Falcon, I believe when you play good non district opponents , who all will be better than the 4 district opponents( who will be better than the non district opponents they have on their schedule) then you will have a much better chance of winning since you have faced better opponents than your district opponents vs facing weaker opponents than your district opponents Your non district record will not be good, however you will have a better chance to do well in district
  12. My suggestion on non district games was to better prepare them for district It had nothing to do with wins and losses. It had to do with playing better competition that will help get you ready for district I would say IMO there will at least 4 district teams better than their non district opponents, so again it is about getting them prepared You can rest assured if they lose to their scheduled non district opponents, you will see another 2-8 to possibly 4-6 season
  13. If I didn’t know better I would think some of these people that post all this hate stuff took one too many dives off the deep end without any water in the pool! I just don’t where you come up with this stuff. I am finding out that you do not like the truth stated!!!
  14. I have a ton of respect for the coaching profession, always have and always will. I have not been unfair to any coach or the coaching profession I have stated under Barrow’s leadership and his assistants, the Bulldogs have been very bad. That is not unfair , it is a true statement I have said that Reyes assistants do like working for him and that he doesn’t know much about football. Simply talk to the assistants and see what they say. Maybe they will tell you something different than they told me As for Silsbee, yes they have been good, however people always overrate them by suggesting they are state champions every year There are a ton of excellent head coaches and assistant coaches in the SE Texas area Examples: BH, PNG, EC, HF, Anahuac, Silsbee, LCM, and many more I suggest that your statement is totally incorrect, when stating I am unfair
  15. Yes Bellville could have beaten Nederland worse than Silsbee. So I see LCMAlumtiger32 you are finally beginning to understand my post on how bad Nederland has been. Yes Silsbee is always overrated Have they won a state championship NO have they been to a state championship NO. Have they had some good teams YES However the issue is that people think they are better than they are. That is why I say always overrated
  16. Let us see how the new staff does. The new AD/HC has many years, so we will see how his program goes. I and most people that post hope he does well I do know if I were coming in, seeing how bad the program has become under Barrow’s leadership, I would clean house
  17. Yes there are some good coaches on the staff. That’s why they went 6-15 the past 2 seasons and their 6 wins were against teams with losing records
  18. I do not know why you would want any coach that currently coaches the secondary and OL to return. Those key positions at Nederland have been absolutely horrible the past 2 years. The secondary even longer than that. In fact the receivers, LB’ers, and QB’s haven’t been good either. The DL coaches did a fair job and they had 1 good RB, other than that, the Bulldogs didn’t have much That is why spring ball will help him evaluate talent and begin to get his program established and hopefully some players that quit and walking the halls will come back
  19. The key is for him to get a very good OC and especially DC. They need quality coaches at all positions, especially the OL and secondary I sure hope he can do it. I am not really a spring training guy due to other sports going on at the same time and the loss of a scrimmage, however he has got to find out and evaluate the talent he has even though a few players in other sports will miss out
  20. What needs to happen imo is for 6A to have 2 divisions like 1A through 5A and also add a 7A and get the district numbers to where there isn’t such a large difference in enrollment numbers and try to have no more than 6 teams in a district
  21. Yes it does and that makes it weaker than well water. I guess that is what happens when you go 6-15 the past 2 seasons and the program has a losers mentality philosophy!
  22. Hopefully he will hire a very good staff and start getting the Bulldogs back to n track. I know when I visited with Neumann shortly after he got the job, he was extremely excited on how hard the kids worked. Is course Neumann had some very good assistants like Spell and Pate Hire good people, sell the program and the players will work Best wishes to the new staff
  23. May have been misinformation, but heard from a pretty reliable person.
