His record doesnt speak highly due to the talent wasnt there...offensive coordinator at Duncanville his last 2 years and they did make it to State in back to back seasons....better than that I was told by a family friend in Dallas who knows him said he went above and beyond helping kids along the way to get kids in College from his school as well as teams they played due to alot of them working out in the same circle...that in it self is a good thing.

Regardless of 14 and 17, Days,Nights and minutes, the older has to know better whether consensual or not. You just signed a LOI to play college ball...someone in your age group would have probably been ready for sex with you just because but instead you had manipulated the mind of a 14 year old and took it. I feel bad for both parties involved and pray for justice and peace. We as parents have to educate our boys and girls on the severity of situations like this and pray we dont have to go thru it....Saddens me that this happens every so often somewhere but we dont hear about it alot more because most dont get caught because the age difference isn't this far apart but this time it's close to home and far in age...

I think Beaumont United has tweaked a few things in staff changes so hopefully we can see if they make it over the bump or hump...

Heard it's taking place of Nederland tourney due to being so close it will be hard to get quality teams back this way without quality competition from they way it was explained to me....JS

Got confirmation the Y.M.B.L tournament will be coming back to Beaumont with Both B.I.S.D highschools having to play in it and hoping to get 16 teams with 11 already committed and I believe all made the playoffs lastyear in 1 of the 6 classifications. Should be a good 1 hopefully....

I agree except for the coloring of the seats and lighting isn't that bright. West Brook redoing of the floor made it a comfortable place to play to the least it is almost 40 years old....

It's possible but I was wondering maybe only the immediate family of the players may be allowed to attend up to 4 people per athlete due to there will be enough room to social distance from one another and it will give the support to the team there rooting for and if 1 family member doesnt attend you may be able to bring a guess in his or her place. Facebook live will become more popular than ever then.... Just a thought....Carry On...

Alot of teams that are In bigger classifications wont play smaller classification teams due to the fact of possibly losing and job getting talked about losing. Just because your a 6A school doesn't always mean your better than a 4A or 3A school....that's why.....JMO

I seen someone earlier mention Willie Williams....he was a complete force that went on to win State with French High school and from there went to The U under Jimmy Johnson and win a National Championship...

I know Coach Paul from West Brook / Central lastyears coach took the job at Pasadena Dobie so I know it's not him.

Me personally dont see UIL setting itself up for a loosable lawsuit of some sort to someone being a carrier and passing this pandemic on for the purpose of crowning a champion because everybody's body reacts different to when they get sick and all areas of Texas wont peak at the same time so to be on the safe side which UIL will probably do is put an end to the season as soon as they announce the school year is over. I feel sorry for the seniors of BMT and Houston for they had to deal with Harvey, Imelda and now Covid. The Srs at BU had to deal with all the above and now no closure in regards to celebrating there final year of Highschool. I Feel bad for them and pray that God has his hands on there lives as they move forward.Those Seniors have missed more school then the State even allows to be eligible to graduate within the last 3 years alone....

Spoke to a reliable source earlier in the week and it's almost 90% certain that school is over for the year...Almost all Superintendents are focusing on showing the State of Texas education board of trustees that the students are still working to receive there financial stipends for there schools for nextyear and that's the biggest picture on hand right now....$,$$$,$$$

You all are correct but I do know for 100% certainty that in Texas you can put a team together that would not only beat them but a double digit win against MV and they all wont be Seniors either....

IMO if you go by titles its Newton but consistency year in and year out...its WOS...just my opinion...they both have put up tremendous season runs year in and year out...just my opinion again...

You can look for it to happen in the near future with more kids whether it be a sibling or a parent...Prep Schools do it all the time...they hire the Dad of a kid who's a possible lottery pick to Coach knowing hes bringing his son there and possibly bring an AAU teammate or two that can help the program win games since most of the private prep schools now have on campus living. I expect Houston to be doing it soon in Katy at the school called the Village...the Headcoach came from one of the perennial powerhouses and the resources he has is unlimited for himself and he has the son of a Hall of Famer there starting Highschool as well as one just Graduating and he himself likes to be in the gym with the kids himself because of the love of the game....The Dream...only know because I've seen it...worked a camp there this past summer....
