Not sure if I heard correctly while talking hoops today but someone said they believe Heffner from Nederland is hurt....anybody know if its true...was looking forward to watching him play tomorrow vs Harrison from BU and vie versa... I know Nederland is in Footbball so the wont be all there cause I 'know Morris hoops also...

I believe it was on JV but in any highschool level 32 is a nice way to start...

Just made a call to check it out and from what I was told they were all at Media day as of yesterday so if kids did transfer it was'nt the basketball players..

They will be better but saying nextyear is a playoff year...highly unlikely...this may be there best hope this year to advance farther then district....the pipeline is dry and not looking to be pumping no time soon...I was told they were hoping the United freshman Yates went back to Kountze to play with his older brother and cousin but from the looks of it that's not gonna happen...

There about where expected to true fans of the sport...23 to 25 kids...18 sophomores give or take 2 as well as limited on the talent they do have and 1 win on the year. The coach is under a 1 year contract and your best players dont believe in you week in and week out... Does that answer it....

Not sure if its true but I believe there in a 5 team district so they only needed 1 win to make playoffs...any Coach would say he's making the playoffs I assume...

From what I was told they all weren't seniors suspended....a few juniors also and yes #2 is gone and #11 also...he was kicked off the team for being bullied and standing up for himself and Coach wanted him to move to the front of the bus and he refused to move to the front so Coach dismissed him from team, and also heard his parents checked him out of school a week later.

Hate to say I bet in a highschool game but with an inside source telling me about what was gonna happen I made a nice wager that payed off. Just contacted Jim Hicks and if anyone is wanting presale tickets for the season opener on the 16th he said the Head Coach or Principal is the one who has the tickets for sale for $5 or $10 at the door...Great price to see 8 games and at least 6 will be good ones....2 days left to purchase at that price

Heard a rumor at work that some teams have changed there schedules. There gonna be rumors until confirmation is in writing. One game in particular is Nederland will be facing United early on. Am I the only one who has heard it...looking for comformation for a friend.

There's also a kid at West Brook...he plays football also at receiver..not sure of his name but seen him on the hardwood over the summer with Beaumont Thunder and the also have a shooter...dont know there names but they deserve to be on here mentioned about.
