  1. Anybody got an update or a final? Come on Anahuac
  2. For the record, it was not my intention to insult Orangefield at all and it seems like y’all took it that way. Manning kid might be the real deal, I dont know. I watched for a half though and I couldn’t tell you which one he was. To correct my previous post and maybe make my point more clear: Anahuac has the athletes to compete with anybody in the district. Some of the best athletes in the district play for Anahuac, IN MY OPINION. They have the players to not lose to Orangefield 38-0 and I think most people can agree
  3. I think you are missing my point lol. But it doesn’t matter. Y’all get after EC and the rest!
  4. Oh there is no question OF has better football players. But athletically/talent wise Anahuac has the upper hand. At the skill positions especially. I didn’t see any one from OF that has the talent Coates, Barrier, Richardson, Trotter etc. from Anahuac have. And that’s not a knock on OFAM. OF has tough, disciplined, smart kids who play the game well and that’s why they will win this district
  5. I can’t help but feel for Anahuac in this game. A lot of buzz and excitement around the team this year, and there is not a more talented team in the district. But it looks like they still have some issues with discipline and consistency. They keep getting in their own way. They have an amazing coaching staff and good athletes who are also great young men. I hope they find a way to get over whatever hill is blocking them from being the program they’re capable of being
  6. Good for Kyle. The schools are getting harder to work at every year, and often, leadership doesn’t do enough to give good coaches/teachers a reason to stick around. The best teachers are the ones who get screwed the most in my experience. I don’t know the whole situation, but it sounds like what happens to a lot of hardworking teachers and coaches. Administrators need to know they’ll lose you if they don’t do right by you. Unfortunately, the yes man will always get run over. There are too many work opportunities out there for any person to just stick it out in a situation they don’t want to be in. Whatever the reason was for Coach Green getting out of there, I can’t blame him one bit. In the end you gotta take care of you and yours
  7. I believe they have same bye week. Maybe they reschedule?
  8. Does it have to do with his Sno Cone truck?
  9. Remember, Barrier will just be a sophomore. No, he’s probably not going to lead Nederland to any championships this year. But the kid is a stud. Nederland’s offense will be much better with him this year and in the years to come. 3A to 5A is a big jump, but Brady will be prepared for it. Nederland fans are going to enjoy watching him play
  10. Also no way to really charge a gate fee. It's all open. Might've been a factor as well
  11. East Chambers has a scrappy bunch that plays hard. Should be a good game
  12. Definitely should be that way. But a lot of parents these days suck. For a lot of kids, school is the only place they are taught any sort of discipline.
  13. Lol I haven’t really looked into it that deep man. I guess I mean they seem to be getting back to the Buna I remember before Kinne. I just see the scores and read a little about em on here. I just know that when the year started, it looked like they were gonna be 2-8 again, maybe not even in the playoffs. Now, I think they’re gonna be a little better than that. Will know a little more after Friday.
  14. A few weeks ago I would've said EC wins big. Now I'm not so sure. Coach Terrier has the Cougars back on track. I'm thinking it could be a battle
  15. East Chambers 12 Kirbyville 9
