I agree Every good team needs a field goal kicker. Newton should be taking advantage of practicing field goals on games they know are going to be blowouts. Say it’s tied 20 to 20 in a playoff game. 2 seconds left in the game and your on the 15 yard line against a solid defense. If you have a field goal kicker your odds of winning just went up.

I was at the game and Newtons defense totally shut are offense down I agree. I thought are defense played well though. All but getting burnt on two big pass plays. Newton just out played us. Hopefully we can get things together an bounce back next week.

I laughed at my mom she’s 80 and said Newton has always been good at football. Way to play young men..

Probably still year of the Eagle. I don’t think we’ve ever beat Newton. Our offense should keep it exciting to watch, but I don’t think are defense will be able to slow Newton down enough for a victory. Regardless this should be a good game for Hemphill to let ‘em know we’re there at going into the playoffs this year.
