Will be at the game too! Will be on the Deer Park side though. But planning on meeting up with family on the visitor side after the game, might try to catch up with you guys too.

Looks like Phillips graduated last year, is at A&M Kingsville now. Didn't catch any of the varsity scrimmages this year, but did get dragged to the JV scrimmage vs Summer Creek, and was at Meet the Team this Saturday. Sounds like it will be a good game either way, looking forward to it!

I know this might be considered outside of the region covered, my apologies. Been on this forum for a long time, BH grad, but have a daughter on the Deer Escort team, so have vested interest in this game and Deer Park for the next few years, so might as well enjoy the journey lol. La Porte is still homeless at least for the first part of the season, so Border Battle will be played at Abshier Stadium in Deer Park again this year. DP took care of business last year, but I'm not familiar with what either team are bringing back from last year's squads. Betting money would be on DP to win again this year, any thoughts to persuade me otherwise? (Also, gearing up for the Week 3 matchup between Deer Park and Barbers Hill.....)
