Tatum beat Hitchcock by 18 in a tourney this year when neither team was in the football playoffs. Hitchcock has beaten Westwood twice this year. Kountze beat Tatum by one. SA Cole, not sure about them, they lost to London HS in their district the 1st time around. It could be Tatum/Hitchcock in SA for the chip 3A D1. Not sure what other teams will be D1 in region 3.

How did the Sherwood kid play from Hitchcock? He's about 6'5 and I think wears #12. Usually has an inside/outside game.

I think Ponder outplayed Hitchcock for 2 1/2 quarters. Hitchcock caught up by the end of the 3rd.

How do you think this Hitchcock team would stack up against Silsbee's basketball team?

Most of the Hitchcock kids ar football heavy. The tallest kid #11, a junior, is mainly basketball and could be D1. The other tall kid inside #24, junior quarterback, committed to Texas Tech. Two of the guards, one going to UNLV and the other going to Memphis. The other starting guard, football wr, has offers from Texas, A&M, Penn State just to name a few. Runs a 10.6 100. All good athletes.

The big running back comes in on goal line only. He plays Defensive tackle. He was a good back as a sophomore, ate his way to the D-line. Watch out for those receivers, all 4 can run. The 6'4 Sophomore quarterback is an agile kid, try not to tire out trying to corral him. GO DAWGS!!!
