I don't know much about FBCA but I think it's a good replacement game from what I've seen of them on film. Glad we'll still be able to have some football on Friday!

Vidor is going to play Fort Bend Christian at home Friday.

Its going to be against Fort Bend Christian Academy, not sure if I've heard of them before.

Heard it's still going to be a home game too, but I'm guessing it's not set in stone yet.

Probably what Vidor should do as well, especially if they couldn't find an opponent.

I honestly have no idea who is available. I haven't heard any other cancelled games besides LCM and I don't even think they found an opponent either.

I know Vidor tried to schedule Carthage last year, but instead they chose to play LC-M.

That's how I feel too. Just play our type of game, control the clock and score on every possession if we can and keep improving defensively!

That's a bold prediction, but I honestly dig it and very possible that this can be the district outcome.

Bay City is 2-1 on the year with wins against Sweeny and Wharton and a loss to Edna. Pirates seemed to have found their groove in the run game, but still struggling to hold on to the football. Defense is starting to find their footing and looking to improve against the Black Cats. But like Coach Mathews said after the game Friday, the Pirates are still looking to play a game to their full potential.

I think HH has the top spot til proven otherwise, but the 2nd & 3rd spot are probably gonna be between Vidor and Livingston. LC-M is my dark horse, I think they're gonna make some noise to try and fight for that 3rd or 4th spot. I think Vidor can hang and beat HH, but our secondary is gonna have to play flawless, if want a chance to win that game. If we can hang with Silsbee and beat them, I think we have a good shot at HH. They're pretty similar to me.

I have a feeling Jasper is gonna be one of them teams we're gonna have a hard time moving the ball. Luckily, we have a quarterback who can pass and is somewhat accurate! lol

That game was nerve racking, almost let them back in it. But Jordan had a crucial forced fumble and recovery late in the 4th which helped seal the W. Glad this team can move the ball and put up points!
