I agree, the offense this season can definitely play keep away than last year and they haven't been behind the sticks that often either, just as long as we can find that damn handle for the football we'll be okay.😅 But the defense looked better, and they even blitzed more on key situational downs which was nice to see. This is probably is one of the few road games I might not make. But I can definitely get score updates on the game cause I'll have some family going.

Im expecting the same type of game out of Brazosport myself. I know they returned their QB from last season as well and he's only a junior.

I had strong feeling this game was gonna be a snooze fest. The secondary looked better tonight, BEK's offense was perfect for them to get their feet underneath them work out the kinks. DL did it's job all night and they forced them to throw the ball quick. I thought the same thing about the refs last night, they pretty much let the kids play all night, which is cool. The crews the last two weeks have been head and shoulder better than any games the last two years.

I don't know why either but they're probably wanting people to attend games and they won't let Texan Live stream it cause it probably takes money out of the schools pocket.

secondary is decent on screens and roll outs, but when a pass is 15+ yards, the secondary forgets who they're supposed to cover and zero help over the top, and the DBs can't pin point the ball when it's thrown their way and won't turn around til the last millisecond. I was surprised Vidor didn't get more PI's last week. it's atrocious than years past but it can be shored up, hopefully.

Absolutely, it is sad especially since Mathews has been HC. But we'll always have that type of reputation in some people's eyes, no matter how much we try to change our cities imagine.
