Correction 25-13, HD sacked HI 4th and 25 with 2:30 left

HI forced HD to punt, returned it 20 yards to HD 45, then fumbled it back to the cats on 1st down with 4 minutes left, HD just scored with 3 minutes left to make it 24-13

Yeah HD graduated a lot! Losing cook which was about 90% of their offense, they were an all around team last year. HI's #34 ran over about 4 guys earlier for about a 15 yard td run. They look pretty good thos year, glad for them

I feel I should apologize to HF for my statements. I don't believe the way Ron and Brick should influence the way we look at HF teams and fans.....they are just two guys who probably never played football and just love to put down the athletes that do.

Ya'll better watch out for Ron and Brick from I HF I believe, they think giving a JV team credit is pointless and stupid. I don't guess they realize how much a JV does at small schools in regards of getting the varsity prepared, not to mention future varsity players. Good luck EC JV and lower class teams, keep it up

As a former bobcat who played under Barbay I miss him, but injurys hade nothing to do with a coach leaving. Brick, all you do is get a HD threads and hate, why not just don't bother clicking on it and reading it! Stick to HF!

I seen some HI players at the HD-Hardin game, I hope they don't think that HD is gonna be an easy game because Hardin is a strong team. Good luck to both teams

A JV thread is stupid, but they do prepare the varsity for their games and will be varsity players sooner or later. We are in a weak district but we still win games. Go longhorns! UT Longhorns that is!

Yes I am a HD alumn. But when I played we had discipline, not kids quiting for whatever reason and getting to come back. It just makes the other kids think if something doesn't go their way then they can quit and come back. I hope they can fix this, because discipline is a must and I hope they have all the success in the world.

Hey 55 Tim Taylor didn't get hurt until the end of the game when Hardin was already up by a lot. It's gonna be a tough game be our bobcats. I've been told that a couple of our players have quit a time or two to avoid pops for failing and were about to just come back. That shows a lack of discipline! No matter how much talent a team has or doesn't have you need discipline to win. Sounds like Slack doesn't have much discipline, I remember a few years back when he sprung a player from jail. Discipline needs to be the first objective, to build a winning team and successful young man! Good luck Cats!

I liked coach barbay, he brought us discipline and really cared for all us kids. He's a great person, hated to see him leave. Good luck Coach Barbay!

The wholw team needs to step it up, it's a team sport and takes 11 men on each side of the ball doing their assignments and giving it 100%. Not saying they aren't, just saying if they do this day after day at practice and week after week in games they (or any team) would be hard to beat. Good Luck guys
