  1. And before you get an attitude with me you should know this. You might be able to bench 400 pounds but I can type 34 wpm.
  2. You said "Last year’s version of College Station making a “run” in 5A-D1 region 2 gives me hope." You are attaching Crosby to College Station. All I'm saying is they have higher profile wins on their resume so its weird you would make that correlation.
  3. I think College Station is a better program since they started. They beat us for state and have high profile wins on their resume. Whats Crosby's best win(s)?
  4. Yeah Crosby talks, and they have a hard time stopping the run lol. But in all honesty it isnt any worse than East Texas teams. They love to let you know how good they are or who they could beat.
  5. After the back and forth last season on the smoaky site I really hope Crosby and Longivew play each other!
  6. We have our fair share of questions as well!
  7. Yall as well. I actually rated yall as a better program overall.
  8. If you want some more comparisons: Playoff record (win %) Aledo 113-28-1 (79%) WOS 77-29-1 (72%) Championships Aledo 10 WOS 4
  9. @WOSgradWill you change the title to reflect the score? 4-1 not 6-0. 2020-2021 5A Softball State Results — Softball — University Interscholastic League (UIL) (uiltexas.org)
  10. State bound in '22. Looking to finish the job this time! Was looking forward to a BH rematch but didnt work out.
  11. Its your choice to bring him up. And its my choice to let you know how I feel about him. Should have never got the Mt. Vernon job. Should have been banned from txhsfb coaching altogether.
  12. Briles is a pos so we can exclude him from the conversation. But yes it matters when a coach gets to a program. Some classes are more talented than others. If Surratt is at Crosby these last two years maybe they do win. If he is at Crosby in 2000 then no I dont think they win as quickly.
  13. There are several reasons I can think of why he couldnt win at Crosby in two years. Depends which years you are talking about though.
  14. And thats your choice. Cool. Good for yall. I dont care you'd rather have your kids at Martin lol. Personally I wish people stayed at their original school and help build those programs but people move. It is what it is.
  15. Families are seeking out Aledo. Aledo is not out seeking out families. Personally I wish they never sold the Walsh ranch and never started all the housing developments these last last 15 years.
  16. I'm not trying to convince you of anything. And clearly there are parents that prefer what Aledo has to offer vs Martin. Thats why they moved to Aledo.
  17. I definitely disagree with that. Personal preference but quality of living is much higher in Aledo. Not being in a big city with a bunch of different high schools, rangers ball park, cowboys stadium, 6 flags, waterpark, ect and all that traffic. Plus you have a much better chance of team success at Aledo than Martin regarding football. Parents want there kids in a great academic school and a sports program that is going to make a deep playoff run. Aledo doesnt need to recruit. Our situation is attractive for people considering moving to the Fort Worth area.
  18. What do you mean "theres no more benefit"? That part has me confused.
  19. I'm not interested in talking about the race of high school kids. What I will point out is the mutual benefit for the families and programs when talented kids move in to play sports.
  20. Aledo is an attractive option for people that are moving to the Fort Worth area. Parents are willing to drive 45+ minutes to work so their kids can go to Aledo instead of living in Fort Worth.
