  1. 11/4 in Magnolia at 6:30
  2. Huffman beat Vidor handily tonight.
  3. If it isn't in the Golden Triangle they ain't worried about it lol.
  4. If Vidor loses and HH loses wouldn't Vidor go to 3 and Livingston to 4?
  5. Some of them do. Last year's game vs Vidor was streamed.
  6. I really don't think y'all are appreciating exactly how injured Huffman is right now. If they get their kids back they will immediately go back to being one of the best teams in this district. Of course it won't matter in the standings but someone from that other district is gonna catch a loaded 4 seed for sure. Our team was so beat up against LCM and especially Lumberton that they switched to a 4 man front which they've never ran and it showed. They have two Freshman and two Sophomores starting in their front 7 on Defense. None of them were starters early on and two are only on Varsiry because of how beat up they are. Prior to the LCM game I stated in another thread we had 11 starters out with Injuries. Tonight it was closer to 14. Its hard to be good as a 4A team with that many Injuries. You just dont have the numbers to overcome it.
  7. 1:00 left in 1st 7-3 Lumberton.
  8. Like I said earlier in the week those injured players being out really hurt Huffman tonight. I still thought we could pull it out though. That's not to take anything away from LCM as they were clearly the better team, but it would have been way more competitive without all of our O line and d line injuries. Good job LCM.
  9. Great first half. This is gonna be a dog fight in the 2nd half. Both teams are pretty damn good.
  10. Lol....something like that.
  11. I'm definitely not about to drop names and positions so that it can make its way back to LCM but I promise you it is WAY more than 2-3 kids.
  12. I'll pick Huffman, but they are REALLY banged up right now. I'm not talking a little injury here or there, but tons of starters missing (like 11).
  13. 14-0 Huffman at halftime.
  14. The same refs blew calls that made a 3 goal difference in the girls game that took place right before this one. They were TERRIBLE!
  15. They'll win 20+ games and be first or second in a tough district. Losing Harvey obviously hurts, but there are 3 really good starters coming back and more kids coming up. Argyle had made everyone look like that this year.
  16. He's 5'11. Probably weighs 175 or so.....lifts religiously.
  17. They have kids all the way down to 6th grade that are gonna keep them relevant for years to come. Maybe not State Tournament relevant but definitely a competitive squad. The basketball program has grown by leaps and bounds under Coach Barrett. In addition several of these kids play AAU ball together in the off-season all the way down to 6th grade. That was a great game last night. I was really impressed with Silsbee.
  18. He is going to be playing for Trinity University.
