1. The sophomores on Jv this year have about 6 players that will fill in (Beniot, Broussard, Bordelon, Hughes, Tinsley etc. The Freshman group looked thin but have a few players Krauts, Jones, Luchetick, Carr, and the fullback/lb (cant remember his name)
 2.
We've played at Lamar, as well as the butch several times and I'd prefer Lamar.  Always had pleasant playoff experiences there
LU was better before football came back... not sure why. Ozen and Nederland played there a few times.
Barton will be a linebacker next year, as well as Stewart
I do not see Barton playing linebacker.. Seay for sure,  Mayfield or Stewart could be the other.
Agree, about Barton not moving to LB.  Barton is in the backfield next season again. I think someone who is not in the know, may get his work at LB (at practice), just as backup this season for playoffs confused. Barton scored his first td last night.....one of the many ahead.  Great kid!!!!
Well, I personally know both of them, and Barton likes playing linebacker (backup right now) and Seay likes to play that safety/lineback hybrid
You may know them, but I do not think you where the stregths are.

 6. Ask your local board, how many coaches ask to check cards? How many waive the MPR? I would bet only a few in the course of the seaosn do that. Is that a violation of the rule?
 7. If the coach does not take the field, you dont have special meeting... game forfiet right then.  The coach is not considered bad guy, he has the rule. If the game in protest, what is he protesting? The rule was clear... dont play the game
 8. The league has some of blame, but the coach that agreed to play shoulders most of the resposibility. You never play if the rule cannot be be complied with. If you dont play, they cannot blame and this does not happen. Rules are rules, but once the game is played you cannot go back. I read on here that teams did not comply with certain rules and were called on them. That is a little different, the violation was recognized after the fact and it was not agreed that a rule could be relax are not complied with. In this case, the coach new prior to playing. Also, if it is a fact the the coach provided the cards later in the game, then he was not cheating with illeagal players.
 9.
Good Lord. ::) Faircloth's here to stay for the next few seasons at the very least. One mediocre season (if it turns out that way) will not affect his job security and I don't think he wants to leave with the amount of talent we have coming up.
I question the talent coming up 8)
 10. Here is my opinion for what it is worth. First, some folks keeping pushing Seay (not sure why), but Nederland throws the ball about 12 to 20 time per game. If you have watched nederland the last 15, 20 years, we do not showcase the QB, we rely on game management, run the ball, good defense, and throw to keep the other D honest and take our shots when it is time. We have some good qb's coming up that can do that. Seay would be  a waste at QB, since White, Smith and Jones do not play defense. for seay to hand the ball of 20+ times and throw 15 times does not help the TEAM. Seay can play any skill position on offense and any defensive postion (including nosegaurd ;D)
 11.
plus the policy is simple really; the best player plays and competition is a great thing. This ia where you are very wrong! Nuemann has built a program on the TEAM. The best player at hte postion that helps the TEAM. I am not saying you are incorrect about your assessment, I am saying that players play where the TEAM needs you. I am sure a lot teams have many options at certain postions, the good teams choose to play the players where they help the team. I do agree internal competition is great for all players. No one gets comfortable and pushes each other. BTHO OU !!!! Horns Up, thumps down!
12.
I see Sage Seay being Nederlands next Trevin Sonnier, locking down rec and stopping the run on D, playing rec and running a little wild DOG on offense, returning punts.... etc.  As crazy as it sounds we would be wasting his ability at QB, especially when you could have all that and a D good QB in Preston White
I agree. I think the coaches will look at where all players fit to make the best team. Back on topic, Freshman underclassmen RB and DB Austin Krautz will be on varisty next year somewhere on the field. QB Jacob jones, Justin Carr (little bro of Corbin Carr) and a couple of lineman I dont know. JV - WR Jace Bordelon, WR Colton Broussard, Curtis Beniot and some decent linemen that I do not know.
 13.
Have your every watch the sophomore play if had you would had you know what I talking about. Go read tigerdrops the LSU site.
I forgot to mention, if he is playing on the deffense side of the ball with this group then he should be thankful for playing with a great defense and leadership, prob the top 10 D in the state. A lot to learn from Woods, stampley and others. Leadership and team chemistry is something you cant buy... the right players are in the right position !

I would like to now way the sophomore didn't get to battle the senior for the start qb job. We her in the spring he had a big arm and could move will in the pocket but was moved to the defense side?
Seriously?  Why would Neumann take a 2 yr starter at qb and replace him with a sophmore?
he/she probably a PNG poster. they're getting used to QB controversy over there.  ;) ;D
It has to be some one from PNG, we are getting close to MCM and folks want to start some BS. I think it is funny, what a joke.
