Some new faces and some real competition. Other than LaPorte, BH has had no competition within a 30 mile radius the past two years. I hope PAM and BH stays in the same district. I see the "mock" districts posted but usually the UIL does something different. We will see soon.

Yep. All my grandparents were from Beaumont, and both parents were too. Dad went to French and Mom went to South Park, which got "ambushed" and destroyed. I heard lots of stories about how Beaumont was THE place to be 50+ years ago. Its just a sad, dangerous spectacle now.

The most important statement was near the end: The people of Beaumont have the power to rectify this by holding your elected officials accountable and by ensuring through strict oversight so that unelected bureaucrats do not run amok. It is the duty of the voters to hold our politicians accountable. That is unlikely to ever happen in BISD in our lifetimes. Beaumont not only repetitively elects and hires the corrupt, but even celebrates them by naming things like stadiums after them. Beaumont ran its productive people out of town the past 25-50 years, so todays Beaumont is what you get. Beaumont's self inflicted present and future is bleak.

Until Harris Co. gets rid of their County Judge, Lina Hidalgo, Houston and Harris Co. will continue to be a lawless, crime ridden corrupt cesspool. I did not think he would and I tactfully said that, but I was labeled a hater. Truth is some voiced opinions of the young man are just fanciful. I will say again that it put too high of an expectation on a (then) 15 year old. It was unfair to him. I wished they would have just stayed at AP and enjoyed the ride. Rusk was not a good move.

Yeah I don't think a knee on the neck of an already restrained man, with a half dozen cops there in support is justified at all. For what like 8 minutes or something? NO EXCUSE. Even though GF was a total POS, I absolutely belive George Floyd was killed. I call it murder. So what do you call it when 10 blacks kill 10 other blacks? Yeah my gut feeling is Soros will install Gavin Newsome into office. I think Senile Joe "graciously" steps aside for "health issues" just before their convention.
