Sheldon C.E. King (45) @ Allen (28) - FINAL

"Automatically"? No one really says that. It certainly can be a factor and advantage though, but clearly it guarantees nothing. If it wasn't an advantage, then why have classifications at all? Do you really want Northshore playing Hardin if its irrelevant? -

Woodville caught my eye after last weeks close game vs. #1 Franklin. Woodville is going to be a tough out for anyone. Hope y'all make a deep run. -
Slice it and dice it anyway you want, but Sterling is improved and I hope that will continue for them. They are playing with a real spark right now. I don't think that will be near enough for them this Friday night though. After that, I wish RSS all the best.

Barbers Hill (56) @ Montgomery (6) - FINAL

So did I. Montgomery just didn't show up. They pretty much imploded from the opening snap. I am highly confident BH will have a different, better pre district opponent the next two years. -

I am sure Toomer is doing a great job but I believe the new staff is making a lot of the difference. Synergy at work for RSS. -

Absolutely. Toomers squad is looking good! -
Thank you Gametime5. I saw Sterling last week and they looked very good. Their opponent was indeed week but Sterling "got after it" from the opening kickoff. Their team had some new spark and swag. As I mentioned, they appear to have a partially new staff. Their arrow is definitely pointing up!

If Atascocita is a one seed in their district that bodes well for BH. I like the fact Veen will play anybody, anywhere.

Montgomery is not the best team. But, so what? They do appear to be "improved" from last year though, and they are at home. Probably good enough for now. BH does not need to play the KC Chiefs to get work in. I don't stress about pre district opponents or scores. Its meant to be a workout. We will likely have different pre district opponents the next two years anyway. In week 9, 10, 11 it won't really matter who we played in week 2, thats JMHO.

So you support Texas having the right to build a wall and deploy floating barriers, correct? -
I had a friend that I though well of. Cool guy but he did not handle his money well. I knew he was getting in a jam. He complained for several years. Suddenly, his complaints stopped. He bought a new truck, a motorcycle, huge big screen TV, jewelry for his wife, and all kinds of expensive stuff. Went on an expensive vacation to the Poconos. He maxed out all his cards and then took additional cash loans out. He suddenly seemed relaxed and happy. I asked him jokingly one day, "Whats up, did you win the lottery or something?". A big smile appeared, he said, no, I could not pay my bills so I got a sharp lawyer and declared bankruptcy. He said the lawyer told him to go on a shopping spree just before he filed the paper work. He saw I disapproved by the expression on my face. He asked me "whats the problem?". I told him, so, WHO pays the balance on your MasterCard, VISA, etc. Who pays your loans? He had a dumbfounded look, and said its all just "wiped away'. I pressed him and said no, where exactly did your balances go? He kept insisting they were all just "wiped away" in the bankruptcy. I said you owed VISA and MC about 15K each. Thats $30,000. You got the goods, so who pays for it? He says "well the company I guess". I said NO, you are wrong. I, and others are paying your balances. Inside he understood this but he would not admit the truth. I am not friends with the deadbeat any more. He gamed and exploited the system, which means he exploited all of who pay our bills. His debt was transferred to everyone else. If that's not THEFT, nothing is. They can celebrate their theft and gloat about it, but their day of accountability is coming...

I agree with your synopsis. Still relatively unconcerned with the final score. Getting good work in is what counts. Abseck's process continues.
-
You won't be able to "get over it" one day. Accountability is coming at some point. It won't be pretty.

Thats 100% sandbagging. Has to be.

That's a seriously good 3A game.

I agree the O is definitely ahead of the D, but as I alluded above the D effort was good. Just need to clean up some things. -

Very decent first game, but still lots to work on and clean up. Effort was good, execution will develop. All in all a good workout. That's the purpose right now. Our next opponent Montgomery lost to New Caney by 35 last year, but this week they lost to NC by 1, so I expect an improved Montgomery will be another good team to work against. -
This is a textbook example of the "moral hazard". Now Harvard, the richest university on the planet, is getting in on the theft: [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] THEFT.
