LP without their RB means LP will struggle a lot. No way around it.

PAM absolutely can win. PAM is 7-1 and beat a team BH lost to by 3TD's (yes I know there is another side to that coin). PAM is also going to be playing with a chip next week, and PAM plays BH in Port Arthur. PAM will have athletes all over the field. BH will have refocus quickly and play their very best next week v. PAM. (and NO I don't need a dog.)

Not true. I called it a "trap game" days before it was played, and people OF COURSE disagreed with me. BH was coming off of an emotional win... several players out... playing a very physical team.... on the road. It was pretty easy for me to see BH was ripe for a loss that week.

Man I was going to watch your game at the link you provided toady, but you "spoiled it". All good. Congrats. -
I am not scared of anything. I don't know why you are interpreting it that way. I was just being courteous. I didn't want to jump and speak for someone else, I just wanted to add my view to what was being discussed. That's how this works. You need to chill. And no need for lipping off about "buying a dog". Unnecessary. BTW I gave them high praise in the other thread: Huge win for BH. Absek clearly has the program pointed in the right direction. Great effort by the boys, they dug in and battled well in the trenches vs. a significantly larger opponent. Intensity was displayed on both sides of the ball. BH still in building mode, lots of underclassmen already contributing. Celebrate the win then straight back to business Monday morning. Keep the foot on the gas! Well done Eagles! Did you miss that?

KP is lots better this year.

East Chambers (20) @ Anahuac (45) - FINAL

Anahuac will go 4A but its still a ways off. They are growing but nothing like Mont Belvieu is, Anahuac turned 413, 3A top end is 544. Lots of room still. -
BH 3-0 over Sterling. (11, 23, 14) Sterling fought hard. Good workout for BH.

Crosby (69) @ Baytown Sterling (21) - FINAL
Separation Scientist replied to jdawg03's topic in High School Football
I don't know. I don't have that info, and I don't mind you asking about it but honestly I don't care. Not a BH problem anymore. I would think 0.142 would be on here spelling it all out since he alone knows more about all things BH than any person on earth. -

Spot on. The composition of this 3A district will soon change, too. Tark will be 4A-II in the near future. Its inevitable, I know that. Orangefield just dropped down, and I don't know their situation but might they move back up soon? They have to be near the top of the 3A enrollment range. Maybe an OF fan can comment on their enrollment trend. Finally, Hardin could drop to 3A-II. If some of this occurs, Woodville or someone else might move into 10. As for EC, Adler is correct that community is changing. Unless some Beaumont skill kids are imported again futbol will be the future for EC. Finally, Anahuac is poised for steady growth and a program on the rise. Anahuac has a real good coach and growing talent and depth. -

KP a solid favorite.

Me too. I never want a team I support ranked. I shake my head at the chest thumpers who get all jacked up when their team is ranked. Travelling in Stealth mode is awesome.

Crosby (69) @ Baytown Sterling (21) - FINAL
Separation Scientist replied to jdawg03's topic in High School Football
Too much drama with him, good he moved on. The recruiters can deal with it. Absek and BH believes in the TEAM concept. -
I agree. Even going 10-0 in a local district does not necessarily constitute a "good program" unless one purposely takes an exceedingly myopic view. You have to consider the local "competition". If a program really wants recognition, they need multiple 3rd round plus appearances spanning more than a year or two. Newton, and formerly WOS are good local examples. WB and Crosby's success was fleeting (although Crosby is still quite alive this season).

Anahauc vs East Chambers “Swamp Bowl “

I was at ACME Oyster House in Baton Rouge this summer and they, unbelievably, were "out of oysters". Plenty of great seafood there but you were OOL if you actually wanted oysters. Female waiter told us it was due to a number of factors, especially crazy high diesel fuel prices. (Bidenflation). Hope they are back in the oyster business by now. Check 'em out. [Hidden Content] -
5AD1 District 8 and Region 2 discussion.
Separation Scientist replied to Cougtalk's topic in High School Football
All good, I will zoom into the scenarios after this weekend. I get it that your district is pretty well definied and if the reverse was true I would be looking your way.
