Yeah you would NEVER see a flaming liberal celebrity get a phone confiscated, but let Lindell support Republicans and he gets swarmed by FBI and phone taken away. FBI = CORRUPT.

Lumbertons' Own One Arm Bandit
Separation Scientist replied to raideroldtimer's topic in High School Football
I can't get the link to work but yes a one armed lineman could easily hold. In fact it could happen often. Why not? -
Not likely , EC is 4-1 and Buna 2-4. Easy win for EC.

Hardin (6) @ Tarkington (14) - FINAL
Separation Scientist replied to jdawg03's topic in High School Football
Would anyone have believed formerly 0-for 2021 Tark would be 4-1 through the first half of the 2022 season? I was almost a lone voice saying Tark could turn a corner this year. Keep it up! -
BH will simply need to rise and play better vs. Lee. Yes, BH is definitely short handed, but that alone does not account for fumbles, missed blocks and missed tackles. No room for error in the remaining games, time to soar Eagles!

The leftists / media are terrified DeSantis will be the Republican candidate for 2024, so they are trying to smear him as much as possible, while continuing to ignore things like Biden talking to dead people, or Kamala saying we have an "important strategic alliance" with North Korea. Zero mention on CNN, etc. DeSantis just torched the stupid media. "Where were you?" LOL [Hidden Content] .

La Porte (13) @ Humble Kingwood Park (33) - FINAL
Separation Scientist replied to jdawg03's topic in High School Football
They did. BH fell to LP last week in a prototypical trap game. It came back around to LP this week. Last week BH was short handed and LP played while foaming at the mouth. This week was a perfect week for KP to catch them. That and KP is having a great year. I picked them to be in the playoffs from the beginning. -
I think it’s unfair to a 15 (or even 14) year old to have this much unfounded speculation voiced. Do think his teammates like the idea of him bailing on them to play for Katy or something being floated is good? Rumors start and then run wild. I hate them, and it has nothing at all to do with any coach bashing. It’s a disservice to all, especially a very young man who is not asking for it.

I mean this nicely but I don't think anyone in the forum should post unfounded speculation about players bouncing out of one program to another. This does not help the Anahuac team, or the HC, or the Dad who is on the staff, or especially the very young player. Everyone needs to leave the young man alone and just let him play for his team, the Anahuac Panthers. No need to stir up unfounded rumors. Now this is a thread that should be locked. Its unfair to all concerned.

The Dims are terrified to NOT have Trump on the ballot. Their sleazy tactics of stirring up rage based on lies won't work against DeSantis. Desantis wiki: Born in Jacksonville, DeSantis spent most of his childhood in Dunedin, Florida. He graduated from Yale University and Harvard Law School. DeSantis joined the United States Navy in 2004, where he was promoted to lieutenant before serving as an advisor to SEAL Team One and being deployed to Iraq in 2007. When he returned to the U.S. a year later, the U.S. Department of Justice appointed DeSantis to serve as a Special Assistant U.S. attorney at the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Middle District of Florida, a position he held until his honorable discharge in 2010. Hard to hate a patriotic American like that. Besides that, just imagine DeSantis debating Senile Joe on TV.

Another shining moment for our star leader
Separation Scientist replied to Dirty_but_Dazzling's topic in Political Forum
He sees and talks to dead people. Ain't that great? Had Trump done the exact same, the media would have melted down and the Dims would have been involking Emergency Powers to remove him. Dementia Joe will get a pass. [Hidden Content] Full on Mid stage. -
I believe there is a distinct difference between "coach bashing" and fair criticism and evalation. "Coach bashing" to me is when some poster(s) with a axe to grind hates a rival school, and repetativly bashes the rivals coach just because he happens to be the rivals coach. Or, a fan bashes his own coach because "Johnny ain't starting". We have clearly seen both Fair commentary is just that, expressing a view based on factual events or factual performances. If a coach comes to a winning program and the wheels soon fall off without an obvious reason, or, a coach behaves bad in public, brings negative attention, and his players and staff follows, then that is not "bashing", it actually needs to be called out and not swept under a rug. We have seen this too. Coaching is like every other profession. A few good ones, and few bad ones, and most are in the middle. Bell curve. No need to pretend all coaches are above ANY scrutiny. Thats not realistic. They are grown men who get all the credit when they win and get paid to do it. They have to accept the spotlight, whatever it may be.

Todd Dodge- The Best To Ever Do It?
Separation Scientist replied to Dirty_but_Dazzling's topic in High School Football
Yep, them and Alto. Tiny schools. Never happens with the big boys. LOL -
Excellent. Cheer the kid on and all should let the pie in the sky expecations fade. Thats the fair thing to do for him. Good luck Anahuac. You have my support!
-
Well, if he goes to a Katy or somthing like it thats a whole, whole different world to live in. The young man might excell in 3A, but may not even get playing time in a Katy. If his dad the coach is level headed and objective, he will understand this. As for the logistics, Anahuac and Hardin are almost the exact same distance from Houston, so I don't see anything to read into that. Just an outside observation, thats all.

Humble Kingwood Park (49) @ Crosby (22) - FINAL
Separation Scientist replied to jdawg03's topic in High School Football
Wasn't Crosby and BH the largest in the Div 2 district the last two years? Crosby and BH just bumped up and the others did not. BTW there is no Highland Park treatment. HP has been 6A before this alignment, but jealous people want to perpetuate a myth that "they always stay in 5A", just because they envy HP. -
Barbers Hill (27) @ La Porte (34) - FINAL
Separation Scientist replied to jdawg03's topic in High School Football
No doubt about it. If you can't beat 'em, poach their players. -
Yep. The baiting has been going on for months. They messed with the kids head and ultimately the kid gets hurt out of this. Outside handlers and influencers have hurt a lot of kids, especially in basketball. Its ugly.
-
Some here really need to tap the brakes. Be fair to him. Give the freshman another full year at least.
-
That's entirely possible. Not predicting it, just saying its entirely possible.
-
Didn't you know Crosby was a mecca for academics? LOL

Many Tigers v Arch Manning

I have to wonder how much hype AM would get if he was not a "Manning". -
Humble Kingwood Park (49) @ Crosby (22) - FINAL
Separation Scientist replied to jdawg03's topic in High School Football
Thats true, but in some (thankfully) rare cases a coach bring tons of scrutiny on himself, his staff, his players, and his ISD. -

Probably THE most overhyped HS player, ever.
