Not so much has been said of the remarkable season Kingwood had. I think after finishing 4th seed people pretty much wrote them off. KW beat Clear Springs, Elkins, and Strake Jesuit before losing to Summer Creek in the 4th round. Awesome year for the "nobody" in the district with NS, Atascocita, and Summer Creek. Kingwood and Woodville are the overachievers of 2024. Great job Kingwood Mustangs!

Yes! Avoid the 2 year cycle, and also be vigilent of hiring a good old boy, re-tread coach just wanting to comfortably ride along and collect more paychecks before retiring.

Lufkin Opens with Todd Quick Retiring

Maybe a great hire can take Lufkin to the next level. Lufkin appeared to have more capability than a 2nd round loss after winning the district. Probably is a good time for their coach to go. -
Angleton (24) vs La Porte (21) - FINAL
Separation Scientist replied to AggiesAreWe's topic in High School Football
I was at the game. It was rockin'. A great way to spend a Saturaday afternoon at NRG. I agree on the bad calls. In the first half Angleton could not get a call go their way. Either a no-call on LP, or a weak call on Angleton, or, a fumble not awarded. The Angleton fans were booing loudly several times. To the refs credit they called a much better 2nd half. -

[Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] Kamala raised $1.5 BILLION, and now is left with staggering debt. Now is your chance to really support your candidate! Kamala's emails say "Don't click away! Give at least $50". You know who you are, so step up SETX Kamala supporters and send in your contribution ASAP! Meanwhile, Trump is offering to help her out, stating he still has leftover cash.

Trudeau is squirming like crazy about now. Severely regretting the smirking attitude, just like a whole lot of other arrogant libs. Even Hamas and Hezbolla is sweating profusely right now. "Hell to pay" is coming!

A&M Consolidated vs. La Porte
Separation Scientist replied to OlDawg's topic in High School Football
AMC probably did roll earlier, but of course last week they only had three points on GB before a late TD. LP is playing much better, now. I think LP is the favorite. -

Hezbolla all of a sudden wants a cease fire agreement. LOL -
[Hidden Content] The "normal functioning of Democracy" has devastated some in the Federal government to the point of needing therapy. LOL. Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., took aim at Secretary of State Antony Blinken after it was reported that the State Department held therapy sessions for employees who were upset by President-elect Trump’s election victory. "I am concerned that the Department is catering to federal employees who are personally devastated by the normal functioning of American democracy through the provision of government-funded mental health counseling because Kamala Harris was not elected President of the United States," Issa said in a letter to Blinken last week.

Barbers Hill (28) vs La Porte (55) - FINAL
Separation Scientist replied to jdawg03's topic in High School Football
That should tell everyone something pretty clearly. Does anyone really think BH is recruiting elementary kids, to get them to transfer in Jr. high? Seriously? Here is the "dirty little secret" about BH: Most people move to the district for a quality living environment to raise their young family, and benefit from the outstanding acedemics at BH. Even If all athlectics suddenly disappeared from BH, people would still want their kids in the district. If thats not enough to convince anyone, and BH really was determined to recruit, first step would be to have open enrollemnt. It is closed. Yes, I get it, no one ever wants to give BH the benefit of the doubt on anything. Some of the accusations are beyond ridiculous though. This paranoia the BH critics are afflicted with is not just sad, its flat out laughable. -

Thank you. BH imploded in the 1st qt. (4 fumbles in first 12 min.!) and LP played lights out All. Night. Long. You have a great program and a new stadium to play in next year. LaPorte will absolutely murder AMC next week. I appreciate the grit BH developed and played with down the stretch. I said earlier with all the injuries the Eagles could have folded up but they didn't. Lots to look forward to the next two years for BH!
