Years ago (who knows how long) an Orangefeild coach put it on Kountze 99-0, if I recall correctly. It made state wide news.

I didn't see alot of "both positive and negative feedback" for the poster in question. Pretty much a pile on. Speaking of name calling, thats against the rules too but sometimes I don't see the ones who call others names called out. Same with coach bashing. I see some eternally critical of certain coaches and apparently they get a pass. I am sure the owners of the site would support fair, consistant, and even handed applications of the forum rules. I am all for it! -

Is that really what happened? Two very knowledgable people can view the exact same game and come up with diametrically opposed OPINIONS. Last night ESPN was breaking down Bills QB Josh Allen. Four commentators split evenly, two said JA "runs too much and takes too many hits". The other two said JA "has to run because thats an important part of what makes JA a great QB". So, among these experts, who was right? Should someone just decide two of the four are wrong in their opinions and be should cancled for expressing an OPINION? Does this forum have rules limiting discussion to only those deemed "knowledgeable"? Maybe it is your opinion that the poster "outed himself" but who gets to decide that? -

I thought this was a basically open forum where THOUGHTS could be expressed? OMG its not like the guy dropped a bunch of F-bombs or called the coaches a bunch of nasty names. He said "Perspective and In my opinion". I have no idea if the guy is right or wrong, or somewhere in between, but shouldn't the guy get some latitude here? Some hear are WAY too sensitive. Heck I just got cussed by a very well known poster here and I didn't even blink. -
Its a tough game for me. I had a kid go to Sterling a few years ago and I love that school too.

Yes!! It started in the first two sentences of this thread. Re-read those words. They might sound familiar to you.

Thank you Mr. Moderator. You must have noticed the first two sentences of this thread. Thank you.

I am going to keep my eye on our friends from the Capital city. They are going to be battle hardened by the time their district starts. Looks like you have a great coach there too. Good luck Anahuac!
-
For sure. Crosby will run the table in this district. PA is the only team that could pull an upset, but they won't.

I never pay attention to a childish hype videos or tweets, or any of that stuff. I have never seen a single one. I really am sorry if someone hurt your feelings in a hype video though. Perhaps you can just forgive them. I have no agenda to insult your program. I don't trash your coach or team, nor do I wish you to fail 24/7 (like some want BH to fail, 4th place, 30+ point loss, etc). I am pretty neutral on Crosby. I just support BH, and move on week to week. Its just that simple.
-
That may be 100% correct but it don't change the fact that BH is the subject of first two sentences of this Baytown Lee vs Crosby thread. Rent free, 24/7.

Thanks friend. Have a great day.

Thanks friend.

What BHFAN said is spot on. At least limit their scrambling QB and they don't have anything else, Dayton wins. Good luck Dayton.

PAM thread turned into another BH thread. Love it! It means we really matter! If PAM fans wanted to PAM win more than they want BH to fail then maybe PA would not 1st round flame out every year LATELY, like the past four years? There you go. I fixed it for you.

It is amazing what goes on in others minds. Haters are gonna hate. Its just how they roll. Good thing is its in their head. Personally I would rather just enjoy the football season and not waste time obsessing and hating on someone else. -

At a small school? Wow. Some 5A's and 6A's don't have that. -

Good win last night. BH did what it needed to do against a struggling opponent. The rain was not too bad. It was light in the 2nd quarter and pretty much ended when halftime was over. Games count next week. -

I don't give a flip about Trinity, and didn't even know they had a new coach, but you can't judge anyone after two games. Two years is a better evaluation. -

I don't take you as argumentative at all. I appreciate someone who can have a dialogue without it devolving. Thanks for seeing I am not argumentative either. To answer the question directly, it depends on what the motive was. The original premise stated was "he went to EC to get out of BISD academics". If that's so, then the viable choice just for "academics" would clearly been HF, because its closer, actually adjacent to Beaumont. Not as far to drive. Now, was the young man an academician seeking higher learning, or was he a stud (but quite small) running back that could not start in 5A or 6A, and wanted to play and excel in a smaller class like 3A?
