Roe versus Wade draft seems to overturn
Separation Scientist replied to thetragichippy's topic in Political Forum
Actually, no, clearly you DO have a side. You just "picked and chose" a bunch of women's personal views off of FB that all point left. Every single one of them. I did not see a single one on the right side of the discussion, nor even one mention of any of the prospective fathers (except one that was called a monster). -
Roe versus Wade draft seems to overturn
Separation Scientist replied to thetragichippy's topic in Political Forum
So then how do we REALLY know what's right and wrong? The vast majority of our American laws were indeed based on Christianity: [Hidden Content] Otherwise, you could have 300,000,000 personal views in the USA, and everyone would argue about whos view is "right". Our American Christian heritage is very real, whether the Godless left can deal with this truth, or not. -
I duuno. I do not believe "everyone cheats", nor will I try to judge any individual. All I am saying is integrity does matter, whatever the profession, even if its not popular or "everyone else does it too". For Example, I don't cheat on my taxes. I pay every penny I owe, period, regardless what many, many others do. I can't be much clearer than that.
-
"Rampant" does not make it right. I would not look to being a coach, if "cheating" is a prerequisite to being hired. Some do indeed cheat, but I do not believe every single coach is a cheater. You might but I don't.
-
Then I would not look to being a coach, if "cheating" is a prerequisite to being hired. I do not believe every single coach is a cheater. Some do for sure, no doubt about that. But honest and integrity still matters.
-
How sad. I would rather walk away with my integrity intact. You can win games down the road but integrity lost is irreplaceable. (Yeah I know no one gives a flip about it in the culture of today).

Worst economic wreckage since 1939

This shuts that narrative down, completely. [Hidden Content] Notice the chart on Jan., 2020. That's all that needs to be said. -
Worst economic wreckage since 1939
Separation Scientist replied to Separation Scientist's topic in Political Forum
It goes far beyond just the stock market. The National debt has soared, inflation has soared, retirement savings (even if not in the market) have been devalued, and the economy (GDP) is now shrinking. Another quarter of a shrinking GDP and we officially enter the BIDEN RECESSION. RECESSION: a period of economic decline during which trade and industrial activity are reduced, generally identified by a fall in GDP in two successive quarters or more. 1.5 years ago Trump had our borders secure, the economy was booming, and inflation was <2%. Under Biden its now all gone to hell. -
A rough 4 months for stocks: S&P 500 books the worst start to a year since 1939. The Nasdaq Composite just notched the worst start to a calendar year in its history, dating back to 1971 [Hidden Content] If you go back just to 11:00 am Wednesday, January 20, 2021, Inflation was BELOW 2%, gas was $1.xx, the economy was booming and stocks were near an all time high. Now, nothing but economic wreckage across the board. [Hidden Content] Dow tumbles more than 900 points and the Nasdaq drops 4% on Friday to close out a brutal month [Hidden Content] And NO, this was well before Putin and Ukraine was even in the news.

5AD1 District 8 and Region 2 discussion.
Separation Scientist replied to Cougtalk's topic in High School Football
Dang dude! BH has no where near the athletes PAM does, and BH lost its bruiser QB to graduation. Crosby PAM BH KP That is still the exact order I picked months ago. Lee and the dynamic Boston could upset KP for 4th, but I think KP has a deeper team. Lets get this thing started! -

You need to recheck crime statistics. Its jaw dropping.

BH vs. 5th place Manvel??
Separation Scientist replied to Separation Scientist's topic in High School Softball
MaxPreps does state the same thing the BH school site itself says. As I look at it, BH should be meeting 4th pace Texas City in round 1. It should not matter if BH gets TC or Manvel, but its just curious to see. -
The BH site (and MaxPreps) already has BH vs. 5th place Manvel in the first round. Why 5th place Manvel? District 22 is as follows: Santa Fe 14-1 Friendswood 14-1 La Porte 12-3 Texas City 6-7 Manvel 5-7 Is somebody ineligible in 22?

Random Beaumont question
Separation Scientist replied to Separation Scientist's topic in Local Headlines
Simple reason believe it or not, multitudes of contractors drive into Jefferson Co. from Baytown, Pasadena, and Houston, then go home at night. For example at the I-10 and HWY 146 intersection, there used to be an abandoned gas station. That parking lot would fill up with dozens, possibly a hundred or more Hispanic contractors and carpool to Beaumont, with their cars jammed in and parked in any available space. At night, they came back and the parking lot emptied out. So, they, and the ones who drove directly in daily, contributed to traffic in Beaumont and PA, but did not increase the population.
