  1. The Dims are terrified to NOT have Trump on the ballot. Their sleazy tactics of stirring up rage based on lies won't work against DeSantis. Desantis wiki: Born in Jacksonville, DeSantis spent most of his childhood in Dunedin, Florida. He graduated from Yale University and Harvard Law School. DeSantis joined the United States Navy in 2004, where he was promoted to lieutenant before serving as an advisor to SEAL Team One and being deployed to Iraq in 2007. When he returned to the U.S. a year later, the U.S. Department of Justice appointed DeSantis to serve as a Special Assistant U.S. attorney at the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Middle District of Florida, a position he held until his honorable discharge in 2010. Hard to hate a patriotic American like that. Besides that, just imagine DeSantis debating Senile Joe on TV.
  2. He sees and talks to dead people. Ain't that great? Had Trump done the exact same, the media would have melted down and the Dims would have been involking Emergency Powers to remove him. Dementia Joe will get a pass. [Hidden Content] Full on Mid stage.
  3. I believe there is a distinct difference between "coach bashing" and fair criticism and evalation. "Coach bashing" to me is when some poster(s) with a axe to grind hates a rival school, and repetativly bashes the rivals coach just because he happens to be the rivals coach. Or, a fan bashes his own coach because "Johnny ain't starting". We have clearly seen both Fair commentary is just that, expressing a view based on factual events or factual performances. If a coach comes to a winning program and the wheels soon fall off without an obvious reason, or, a coach behaves bad in public, brings negative attention, and his players and staff follows, then that is not "bashing", it actually needs to be called out and not swept under a rug. We have seen this too. Coaching is like every other profession. A few good ones, and few bad ones, and most are in the middle. Bell curve. No need to pretend all coaches are above ANY scrutiny. Thats not realistic. They are grown men who get all the credit when they win and get paid to do it. They have to accept the spotlight, whatever it may be.
  4. Yep, them and Alto. Tiny schools. Never happens with the big boys. LOL
  5. Excellent. Cheer the kid on and all should let the pie in the sky expecations fade. Thats the fair thing to do for him. Good luck Anahuac. You have my support!
  6. Well, if he goes to a Katy or somthing like it thats a whole, whole different world to live in. The young man might excell in 3A, but may not even get playing time in a Katy. If his dad the coach is level headed and objective, he will understand this. As for the logistics, Anahuac and Hardin are almost the exact same distance from Houston, so I don't see anything to read into that. Just an outside observation, thats all.
  7. Wasn't Crosby and BH the largest in the Div 2 district the last two years? Crosby and BH just bumped up and the others did not. BTW there is no Highland Park treatment. HP has been 6A before this alignment, but jealous people want to perpetuate a myth that "they always stay in 5A", just because they envy HP.
  8. No doubt about it. If you can't beat 'em, poach their players.
  9. Yep. The baiting has been going on for months. They messed with the kids head and ultimately the kid gets hurt out of this. Outside handlers and influencers have hurt a lot of kids, especially in basketball. Its ugly.
  10. Some here really need to tap the brakes. Be fair to him. Give the freshman another full year at least.
  11. That's entirely possible. Not predicting it, just saying its entirely possible.
  12. Didn't you know Crosby was a mecca for academics? LOL
  13. I have to wonder how much hype AM would get if he was not a "Manning".
  14. Thats true, but in some (thankfully) rare cases a coach bring tons of scrutiny on himself, his staff, his players, and his ISD.
  15. Probably THE most overhyped HS player, ever.
  16. Happy for BF and I wish SS all the best, but at BH we like our guy and want to keep him. I hope he stays a long time.
  17. Did HF lose their QB for this game?
  18. I said it was a trap game and yes it was. BH 1) coming off a high 2) playing on the road 3) against a very improved and larger opponent and 4) dealing with numerous absences. Good thing for BH is we will likely rebound this week and be 3-1 before hitting the meat of the schedule, Lee, KP, PAM on consecutive weeks. Eagles have to get as well as they can and take it a game at a time.
  19. Thanks. I saw LP last year and this years LP team has taken a huge step forward. Y’all have a bright future ahead. Agree on the great sportsmanship. That’s refreshing to encounter.
  20. BH undermanned and FLAT right now. Another half to go…
  21. Dems hated America well before Trump was a politician. As for Trump he is hardly an idol to me, I don't care. Where do Dems worship? At the abortionist's table?
  22. I can't. My life would be in danger at for example, at Obamas church, where Rev. Jeremiah Wright screamed at the top of his lungs GOD D**M AMERICA!!!!
  23. You are far too kind. The Dems are not "chipping away" on Christanity, they are hell bent on destroying Christanity. Yes its scriptural, but they will ultimately fail. Their leader knows what the last Chapter says.
  24. Again, No One said anyone "had to be a Christian". No one. In 1972-1997 your grandparents could eat anywhere. Schools were largely, then completely desegrated, and the nation was largely safe. Even the worst neighborhoods didn't have all the killings and gangs like they do now. Laws mattered, before violent groups like Antifa, BLM, and MS-13 took over.
  25. Of course not. People routienly reject God. In fact most people are not Christians. The Bible is pretty clear on that. The difference in today and 25-50 years ago is that even though most people were really not Christians then either, America had Christian values, like traditional marriage, good family structures, respect for authorities, and everyone (mostly) abided by the laws of the land. Now God and His values has been kicked out of the workplace, out of the schools, off of TV, and out of homes. God has been replaced throughout our culture with a lost, dark secularism. Lawless Dems win elections and the nation has since gone to hell.
