  1. Yep, its been run into the ground 10X over. Its beyond irritating now.
  2. You are a WOS guy, I am not. You, and other WOS people would know, I would not. Are you afraid to answer or something?
  3. I remember back in the day TJ had some great baseball in the house. "X-man" was a pitcher I remember, and there were lots others. Seems like PA sports have pretty much cratered lately.
  4. Its a travesty what the UIL did to Katy baseball because two players helped out at a Little League practice. They kicked them out of the playoffs, and they were almost undefeated at that time, and likely to win state. Where was the mercy and understanding then? Two kids help out at a LL practice -- Whole team DQ'ed from playoffs. Kimball player shoots a woman at State, -- PLAY ON! [Hidden Content]
  5. I know some folks from Tark. I go to Church with them, and I eat at the Ranch Hand Cafe. A few years ago they were winning, a little. I don't remember the coach or record or the exact year, but they were winning some. I see two problems. One is that the kids there just don't focus on football. Deer season is a whole different matter! Second thing is mediocre athleticism. Yeah they might have a stud or two, but not across the board. It should not be too hard to win some in their 3A district. Honestly that district is weak. Their playoff teams go down fast. But that's part of the problem too. No iron sharpening iron in 3A. I hope Tark can get it in gear, there are some good folks there.
  6. He wasn't. That's just what people think. Presumed guilty 24/7 on ESPN, NBC, etc.
  7. Yes, and the Keystone XL workers can put away their welding machines and "just learn how to code". Problem solved!
  8. I agree. How do the SETX districts rank class by class?
  9. Fair play, integrity of the game, avoiding any appearance of impropriety, avoiding altering players careers, disenfranchising fan bases, opening itself to criminal gambling influences, the list goes on. Yeah I know these are archaic concepts that NO ONE cares about anymore, but I still do. I have the audacity to believe there is still a right and wrong, even though we are talking about the National Felon League. Crazy, ain't it?
  10. You totally missed his first sentence, and you apparently missed the first part of his 2nd paragraph too. Reading comprehension would pay off.
  11. Here is his FIRST sentence: Well, rigged connotates a sort of cynicism. It's more like manipulated. Try again, 01.
  12. You should understand him, he voiced his perspective quite clearly. Manipulation is not the exact same thing as rigged. Remember that play in the NFC Championship game a few years ago, where a N.O Saints receiver was absolutely TRUCKED by a LA Ram defender before the pass arrived at crunch time? Not one, not two, not three but FOUR refs on that side of the field had the right and obligation to make that call, but not a single one did. All it would have took was ONE. Other times you will see the exact same refs flag a DB for just breathing on someone, flags will fly in from every corner of the field... The NFL wanted a west coast team from the nations 2nd largest media market in the SB that year rather than lowly N.O. Its all about rating$ for the league.
  13. Remember what the Lib media screamed at us 1.5 years ago? 'IF TRUMP IS RELECTED HE WILL CRASH THE ECONOMY AND START WWIII !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" They missed it by one President.
  14. If you don't know the outcome of this game, pull it up on NFHS and watch it. It was one of the best State games ever. No spoilers, PLEASE!
  15. Mine sat in his car, engine running with A/C on, chain smoking and drinking beer. Would occasionally get out and yell something. His empties literally filled up the entire back seat area of his car, so much so that they would spill over into the front seat area sometimes, until he occasionally dumped them. I don't know how he lived as long as he did. (Disclaimer, this was NOT at BH).
  16. That's PAST being run into the ground. Its just irritating now.
  17. They went 354 to 411 from 2020 to 2022. Currently the 4A cutoff is 545, and likely to rise some more. I think maybe 6 years. That could accelerate if Anahuac itself ever develops some industry or other employers. I say that because Chambers Co. just lost out on the gigantic battery plant that was supposed to be built in Wallisville. Arizona beat us out, somehow: [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content]
  18. I don't know about their football team but I can guarantee you Anahuac is finally growing. I see new subdivisions popping up just north of town. Spillover from Mont Belvieu I guess. It will take time but I would think their team might improve with some depth slowly coming in.
  19. Yes, girls basketball is real "iffy" right now. Volleyball is better and of course last year was phenomenal in Softball and Baseball, both are defending State Champions!
  20. Even the LibTard media continues to turn on Dementia Joe: [Hidden Content]
  21. I don't think Brownsboro is being given enough credit here. They had a great plan, played tenacious D, and was deadly accurate most of the game. Part of H-J's struggles were a result from Brownsboro efforts. Not all but enough to make the difference. This was not a fluke, Brownsboro worked, executed, and earned the win.
  22. I agree, I think the Argyle game took a lot out of them. I told Ms. Scientist this very thing, that I was afraid of an HJ hangover from the semis.
