  1. Zero Karma. BU lost on a buzzer beater and was butt hurt, then the "we wuz robbed" mentality took hold. Even one of your own fans admitted your one star player had no help in that game and she alone could not win it all by herself. Officiating was irrelevant in that game. It was not perfect at all but it was unbiased. Last night was not "Karma". It was a level joke.
  2. To the point of being comical. It was beyond embarrassing for that crew. Ugly night in Beaumont, on several levels. That's all I am going to say. Time to move on to the playoffs.
  3. Just an outsider asking a question, Is the administration not capable of making a decision on their own? AFAIK, no one else in Texas hires outside help for $20K just to help them think and decide. I still believe this is $20K the PNG powers spent just to deflect and insulate themselves from responsibility incase a new coach does not pan out as expected. "Hey don't blame us, we just did what TD told us!"
  4. Posted December 22, 2021 Way too early, but going off DCTF's mock realignment district, this is what I think: Crosby Port Arthur Memorial Barbers Hill Humble Kingwood Park Baytown Lee Baytown Sterling New Caney Porter La Porte Goose Creek Memorial
  5. Maybe the schedule is accurate but MaxPreps says: League 5A-2 Region III District 12 Section Region III Division TX Division 5A-2 That ain't right.
  6. So if BU wins at home vs. BH Tuesday, that makes a 3 way tie, correct? If so, how will the seeding be determined?
  7. Lots of schools closing in the greater Houston area. Any Friday night games cancelled so far? BH may not want to traverse the Trinity River bridge to drive to BU, for example.
  8. I do think TD's guidance will benefit PNG. This seems like "deflection" money spent by PNG to me. If whoever comes in under TD does not perform as well as hoped, then they can always point back and say "hey, don't blame us, we just did as TD told us". It looks like an attempt to insulate themselves from responsibility.
  9. I respect your opinion but I don't share it at all. The program seem to regressing at the end. Shiny new buildings and lots of money for him and his family didn't translate into wins for BH. Playoff wins were few. I think he had only three wins in 5 years. Yes, I realize some see it differently but I am glad we moved on. As for PNG, BF and SS, I think its all going to work out for everybody in the end. BF might have been inwardly relieved to get away from all the drama, and TD will find PNG a great coach I am sure.
  10. There is some growth going on in Anahuac, a new subdivision going up just off I-10. Anahuac football might improve somewhat, it remains to be seen. Problem is this district 10 evaporates pretty quick in the playoffs most every year, so not much "iron sharpening iron" going on. Good luck to AP though. I saw on the realignment show this morning another 3A district has both State Champions, Loerna and Franklin put in it. That will be fun, LOL.
  11. I am fine with it all. Our district is really compact, and overall I think R2 is ever so slightly easier than R3. A little more playoff travel, that's all.
  12. BH, Lee, Sterling, Crosby, GCM, KP, LaPorte, Porter, PAM is the football projection. I have no idea about non-football.
  13. I like that thought process but keep in mind the BH of 6+ years ahead will be a different version, presumably larger, stronger, with more talent and depth. Also Deer Park and Dickinson will likely be in a 7A district in 4 or 6 years, but yes I agree with you, I welcome them as predistrict opponents.
  14. For BH I would pick WB, BU, Deer Park, etc. Not real particular, I just want to play slightly stronger teams than the district will have overall while avoiding long trips.
  15. Yeah I made some Danny Malone playoff games. That dude had the Indians cookin'!
  16. 100% correct! "Buddy deals" have hurt SETX football immensely through the years.
  17. Unfortunately for PNG, that seriously good class will be seniors during a new coaches transition year. Thats not to say things can't click, because they can, but typically it takes a season or two, including off seasons, for a new program to be fully installed and implemented. Hoping the best for PNG!
  18. If they are staying in 5A its going to be tough for them. They will need an up and coming high energy coach and tons and tons of patience. That is a fine school and community down there. I wish them all the best.
  19. Then we agree. The OWNER should have someone destroy it, if he wants to do that. He can hire a gunsmith, or chop it up with a hacksaw in his garage, or throw it into the nearest ocean, whatever. Its the OWNERS responsibility. The Judge and court and DA are not employees of the citizen, there to do his bidding. What all could KR have asked them to do? What are the limits? What if KR would have asked them to film an NRA commercial with it? Would they have obediently obliged? The DA should release private property in a timely manner, and be done with it. They should have told KR to take it away and use his own means for disposal, if that's what he wants. Check the US Constitution.
  20. If the OWNER wants the OWNERS property destroyed, then the OWNER should then destroy the OWNERS property, not have any court or Judge do it. The Judge should not be part of the equation or part of any action. Pretty simple, isn't it?
  21. Basketball would be easier too. Baseball not so much and soccer, definitely not!
  22. Me neither. Totally innocent verdict, ALL personal belongings need to be timely returned, then the owner can do what he wants. It should not be the Judges decision to make.
  23. Yes, you understand it. Region 4 has a MUCH easier path to State than Region 2 or 3. Calallen thrived in Region 4 with that easy path. Anybody can see it.
