  1. Thats literally correct. No one likes to admit it but Satan is on the loose like never before. He has taken control of most of the media, and the United States Government. Immorality reigns.
  2. Thanks! You are exactly right. "Gel" is the exact term I used earlier in this season when BH struggled to find an identity under a new coach and staff. The critics howled but anyone with any football knowledge should realize it takes some time. The predecessor had five years, but some did not even want to give Absek five weeks. We appreciate you kind words! Thank You and good luck PN-G!
  3. Yep. I don't why more people can't understand that. Absek still has not had an offseason with his team, yet.
  4. Thank you sir. Its good to hear some true compliments instead of the left handed comments and critiques that follow BH so much. You echoed what I said at the beginning of this season, that the groundwork was set this year even after a late start, and it ended up being a good season. In fact beating #2 FBM is the highest profile win in recent BH history. Of course BH wanted to go farther, but yes, there are some things to be proud of this year. Great job Eagles!
  5. Lets do it! Were you there when BH and Aledo met in Austin? I was. I made every single playoff game.
  6. Yep. I "think" we play better in all white with blue trim. Ridiculous, I know!
  7. Sssshhh!!! How dare you say that! LOL! Absek was just an overpriced, no good trash coach a few weeks ago! LOL!
  8. I hear you and I agree with all that but the last part. My skin is so thick its off the charts. No one, and I mean no one can get under my skin, no matter what they try. My life is WAY too big and WAY too good for anyone, especially on any high school message board or any social media to rattle me. It does seem though that I really matter (round the clock) to some, even though that is never my intent, but that's on them, LOL. It really is all good. BTW I am an ex collegiate athlete. Just sayin.
  9. I feel your pain. Its crazy. I am about the most NON-superstitious person ever, but some times I think if believe BH will win, they don't, and then when I think they can't win, they do. Because I want them to win I almost want to believe BH has "no chance" against AMC. I know, it makes no sense at all. Maybe its not me but its just this crazy season our district just had. Yeah, its totally hopeless for BH this week. I am gonna roll with that, LOL.
  10. 14.2, thinking back I remember you said that BH could possibly take out FBM due to the contrasting styles of play. That was a good call. You are one of the most football knowledgeable posters here.
  11. I loved playoff games in the old A-dome. I saw lots of PNG games there, too. Huge crowds, PNG fans always outnumbered the Houston area teams fans. I wonder what will finally become of the dome? Lots of talk but nothing ever happens.
  12. Cy-Fair FCU Stadium, 7:30 Friday night. Its an awesome stadium, you think you are at a college campus.
  13. Now in round 2 BH needs to focus on AMC, AMC, and nothing but AMC. Go Eagles!
  14. Congrats Coach Absek and The Eagles! This team is growing. Things are getting ironed out, just what you would expect. BH played smash mouth ball and FBM looked stunned. Like I said earlier, BH is capable. Yes, inconsistent but capable. Now in round 2 BH needs to focus on AMC, AMC, and nothing but AMC. Go Eagles!
  15. You are exactly right. The BH haters are just going to hate, so thats noting new. I just tune their noise out and support Absek and the team. I have said more times than I can count that this is a transition year for BH, but few of our critics are sophisticated enough to really understand it. BH is in the playoffs (for the moment), and the potential is there for good things in the near future. Absek is going to do fine here. We appreciate your kind words of support. You guys have a fine community there, and we wish CP all the best.
  16. I never knew I was that important to you. I am flattered. I also didn't know you are so juvenile that you tried to use "gal" to describe me. That's almost as good as "ant mound" being turned into "aunt mound" by some other 12 year old on here. Do you stick your tongue out at your computer screen when you read posts here? I guess you must be about 9 or 10? Or maybe the "08" means you're 8 years old? When is your birthday, little guy?
  17. We don't seek it. If you want proof, see how we generally DON'T invade other threads when Crosby plays other teams, (unless, of course, when they drag us into it unprovoked), but they troll us week to week whoever we play. Believe it or not, Crosby only matters to me one week out of the year, and they may not matter at all after realignment.
  18. Thrilling game! It was 2-2 and BH was down 6-11 in the final set, but rallied and ran off the next 9 points to win 15-11 !
  19. BH will be D-I. I am OK with that, I don't stress which Div. we play in. Not ready for 6A yet though.
  20. Barbers Hill vs. Manvel Nov. 9 at 6:00 PM DELMAR FIELDHOUSE
  21. ^^^ This is pretty much my take on the season, too. For all the intense criticism leveled at the new coach (mostly by outsiders) few have kept in mind this is a TRANSITION season for BH. I said that many times. New coach, new system, late start = inconsistencies and some losses. With that said, some of the issues are on the coach, and some are not. No coach is culpable when a RB fumbles, or a otherwise accurate QB overthrows by 5 or even 10 yards like I saw last night, sure handed receivers drop easy passes, or a defender does not wrap up and lets someone break a tackle. You get the idea. Fundamentals can be taught but the players ultimately have to execute. What the staff is responsible for is attitudes and discipline. Personal fouls have to be checked, and attitudes have to be adjusted when necessary. This will be easier as players come up through the new system. In summary, this season went about how I expected for a TRANSITION year, and it was literally inches away from exceeding expectations. No one realistically expected BH to win State or anything this year anyway. This year is done but I am solidly optimistic about the next 2-3 years ahead. The predecessor got 5 full years, so this coach certainly deserves at least three to see what can be accomplished. He has my full support.
  22. Short term bearish and long term bullish on BH. More to say later. Enjoying a big steak at Kemahs T-Bone Toms right now.
