Nice night out in Klein stadium. This was a good game with evenly matched teams. Had KC not fumbled at the 1 they would have been up 21-14 at half. Tomballs O line eventually wore down the Collins D. KC has some great athletes, Tomball has a great O line and a tough RB.

There are always key injuries at BH. Its crazy. I would faint in the parking lot if there were none. LOL

**Presidential Debate Feedback Thread**
Separation Scientist replied to Bobcat1's topic in Political Forum
The media has already declared that Kamala has trounced Trump in the debate later tonight. -
If we ever forget that we are One Nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under. -- President Ronald Reagan. Yes, even the blind can see this nation has gone to Hades the last 4 years. Evil seems to win everytime, but take heart, God is not done with the USA yet. [Hidden Content]

I think we will keep it close but DP is likely to prevail. I think the pre-district scheduling is great. Love the 6A opponents, even if we take an L. BH still has things to work on. The special teams HAVE to do better and I am sure they will.

Manvel (13) @ Barbers Hill (21) - FINAL

Yeah 82 that was an awesome hit, and perfectly 100% clean too. I was impressed by the D. The special teams put them in a bind all night but they responded well. Next week we begin to see what this team is made of. Time to buckle up tight. -

I am not terribly concerned with the score. Dissapointed, but not much concerned. The special teams lack of execution was by far the biggest factor in this game but those issues should be fixable. They have to be. Keep in mind this is a reset game for the O. Lots of kinks still need to be worked out but thankfully there are two more non-district games to get some things fixed. Go Eagles! -
I would think until there is more 2024 data to input into the computers, their predictions lack accuracy to greater degree. Just like hurricane modeling, more precision comes later. After half a season, they probably hone in pretty good.

Cleveland (10) @ Splendora (70) - FINAL
Separation Scientist replied to jdawg03's topic in High School Football
Incidentally, I was in Cleveland yesterday at a Liberty Co. office doing some paperwork. That building had an officer present. After our paperwork was finished, we walked out and my wife needed to visit the Ladies room. As I stood there waiting for her the officer walked up to me and wanted to casually chat. I mentioned I did not live in Liberty Co. but occasionally come in for buisness. I remarked Clevland ISD had built new buildings. His eyes rolled and told me they had to because of the incredible flood of "international" students coming in. Then he said some things about the Colony Ridge colonia I won't post here but I will say drug cartels were mentioned. In short, CISD is being systematically destroyed. I feel terrible for them. God bless and protect the CISD taxpayers and employees is all I'll say. -
La Porte (21) @ Kingwood (28) - FINAL

I agree Austin1985, KW had good effort but if they are fighting CEK or SC for the 4th spot the playoffs won't happen for them. -
BH will rely on RB production by committee.
-
Total speculation. ^^^ Difference is, as I mentioned, Doggett is putting money IN to Beaumont, not stealing it FROM Beaumont.
-
Thanks, might want to change it in the schedule at the top.
-
And that will continue to be wrong. Its a shame some BISD fans want to diss on Doggett. Doggett is supporting BISD by paying for naming rights. They ought to be appreciated. Isn't Butch the one who fled to Belieze to avoid a prison sentence or something?
-
You knew but they don't know? Do your fans ever drive down I-10? Doggett does have three car dealerships in Beaumont BTW. It will be interesting to see if you correct people in the future since you for example, care about the West Brook name accuracy.
-
The TXFB app says this game is on Thursday night in WV. So does MaxPreps. Is that correct?
-
Yet a number of people still insist on calling Doggett Stadium the Butch. Do you ever offer corrections for that?

Kountze is in need of a Week 2 opponent!!

Probably some large schools in and around Houston has a 9th grade or JV B (or C) team looking for an opponent. -

Cardinal Backer, UT, and Big Girl thinks this mess is just awesome. -
I agree. Manvel not as bad as they let on, and BH took damage in week 1. Closer game, BH by 14-21 sounds about right.
-
I have read lots of comments on social media. Everyone is worried and concerned about the players and their injuries. I have not encountered a single one mentioning the score. In three more weeks, no one will much remember that game or its score. Its all good. We can agree to disagree. PS, got a glimmer of good news regarding one of them. I don't know about the other.
