With a uninspired effort tonight that’s what they get. One and done. -

Not horrible but not good either. -

BH and TC both underwhelming so far. I like our N-S running game more than our passing game so far. I think the BH O-line can wear out the TC D if we keep it up. Can’t catch passes right now. I dunno what’s up with that. -

Pearland Oilers 25, Dawson Eagles 23
Separation Scientist replied to Separation Scientist's topic in High School Football
Cool! How was the parking for you? I got there 25-30 min. before kickoff but I could not park on Pearlands side. I went around to Dawsons side and parked on the back row, then walked around the stadium. -
We went down to The Rig last night to see rivals Pearland Oilers and Dawson Eagles and it did not disappoint. Dawson dominated the first half but Pearland adjusted and won the second half. Great game.

Happy Snapshot Day to You and Your's

I agree. I don['t think they have any reason to change something that works out well for them. -

Thats right, but the conspiracy theorists all over social media will never believe it, even though HP did indeed move up in the past. Its a fact they willfully ignore. What people also fail to understand is that HP is mostly "landlocked", and cannot grow significantly even if they wanted to. -
BH gets Richmond Foster, TBD.

BH wins 3-1. If there is any team I would prefer BH to not be matched with in any playoff game its RSS. I would have much preferred for both teams to advance. RSS has a great team and a very spirited fan base. Congrats RSS on a fine season, and good luck BH in round 2!

but that's after a very long and very successful career at TCU: Patterson is winningest coach in Horned Frogs' history. Patterson has led the TCU Horned Frogs to six conference championships—one Conference USA title in 2002; four Mountain West Conference titles in 2005, 2009, 2010 and 2011; —and nine bowl game victories—including victories in the 2011 Rose Bowl and 2014 Peach Bowl. His 2010 squad finished the season undefeated at 13–0 after a 21–19 Rose Bowl victory over the Wisconsin Badgers on New Year's Day 2011, and ranked second in the final tallying of both major polls. Its amazing Patterson did this with not near the all 4-5 star recruits UT etc. gets. Patterson thrived with lots of 3 stars with a few random 4's and 5's mixed in. Amazing really.

The BH O-Line is fairly large and pretty good, but the whole team will need to execute Friday.

Prayers for Ben Featherston

Hurts to read this, but thanks for posting. Sadly a Prosper TX cheerleader was recently paralyzed in a tumbling accident, too. Its just hard to hear of kids getting really sick or hurt badly. Stay strong Ben. SETX has you in our prayers. -

"Daddyball". That stuff sadly happens. I have seen it many times elsewhere in recent years past. Last names matter. -

I don't know how you can say that. The facts speak for themselves, BH is highly inconsistent. BH can play well, or, lose to anyone. Depends which Eagle team shows up. -
I agree with all the comments above. All I know is that BH can beat almost anyone and also lose to almost anyone. TC might not be an elite team but they are 8-1 and 5-1, and appear very sound and consistent. TC is at home, too. The right Eagles have to show up to make it a game. "Playoffs" start Friday night for BH.
